thank you so much for posting this! I have a mare that I would love to have inspected but I don't know much about how to do it and what it is about. I was worried because I was told that she would have to be ridden in it because she is older then 3 (she is 5) and that is a problem since she wasn't saddle trained as gently as she should have been so she now has a bucking problem undersaddle. in hand she is perfect though and is the inspection is in hand, I deffinatly want to try her at it!

@TheCrazyHorseLady Yes, Diesel is 7 now and he was shown in hand, no riding, as were all of the other horses. I don't know why is some of AWS's paperwork and downloads say that horses of certian ages are ridden, jumped, etc. I hope they fix that. I wish you luck on your inspection with your mare :) What breed is she?

@rednekfordgrl Isabeau is 1/2 TB, 1/4 Clyde and 1/4 Hackney horse :) I've been looking at the paper work and it is making my head spin a bit :P do I have her DNAed the same time I send in the paper work to have her registered? I'm doing this mostly on my own, I'm the only horse person in my family and my trainer has never done an inspection either :P

@TheCrazyHorseLady Wow! What a combo :) The paper work does get a little bit over whelming and a bit confusing. But the AWS team is more than willing to answer any of your questions and help you. They helped me and anwered all of my questions through email. I don't know about the DNA testing. I would for sure call or email AWS to get an answer on that one. The whole inspection thing is more of a warmblood thing. :)
