  • You should have softened the cream cheese before putting it into the mixing bowl. It mixes better that way. Just 30 seconds in the microwave should do the trick. Also, cheesecakes turn out much better with a spring foam pan.

  • @NaomiChambers I enjoy using the glass pan so you can see the different layers after you're done cooking it, and it comes out very very good after it is refrigerated, and certainly softened cream cheese mixes better, just take it out of the refrigerator about a half an hour before mixing! :)

  • @blueastcoast

Do you serve it in the glass pan?

I have only made one cheesecake which had two layers. Even with the springfoam pan, it is hard to see the layers even after the cake has been removed from the pan

  • i noticed a massive turkey hiding in the fridge lol

  • By the way, someone walking in on me while filming would freak me out beyond words. You handled it very well. I've been known to make everyone leave the house when I'm making a video. :]

  • Okay okay, I'll be kind and not post my first humorous comment here, hehe. It was quite a privilege to get to chat to the chef while watching this! Mmm, that cheesecake looks delicious

  • it was quite a privilege speaking with the person who posted this comment as I'm posting this one as well.. You're awesome Jen, just admit it! =)

  • WOW! You are really good at showing "how." This is just great Jordan!!!

I am a cheesecake fanatic. But truly I am not slighted in my opinion that this was really well laid out. I feel I could make turtle cheesecake by watching this video. FUN!

    You are just soo coool!

    =)

  • Hey, Cooking With Jordan!! But I think I've seen this episode... ;PPP

Still made of awesome. Great video!

  • Wow. That looks amazing. I've never had turtle cheesecake, though I've been aware of its existence.

  • Well as long as you've been aware of it's existence, that's all that really matter, one day, possibly in the near future, you should attempt to consume a slice.

  • I've never heard of a turtle cheesecake, but then, until I visited your country I'd never heard of key lime pie either! Love it! I do remember experiencing a yummy dessert made with oreos and cream as well! Oh - and a chocolate cake in Palm Springs called a Blackout - now that was something else again! But I love cheescake - yes!

Move over Jamie Oliver, Jordan is coming!!!

  • That looked scrumptious. I love cheesecake. =]
