Because I'm willing to bet that they aren't the same. There are some pretty clear indicators, for anyone who is acquainted with how tuning works (I use Melodyne, personally), of where someone (apparently Shane Stever) did a quick tuning job. Aside from 2:40, the word "see" at 2:47 has a pretty blatant "blip."

So yeah, I'll believe it when I hear the original.

And the Journey tune sounds like a play of the Glee soundtrack that is auto-tuned to the extreme. I want to hear this in the au natural. Naked voices....please!

@leggerotenor ACTUALLY it is not auto-tuned. Its au natural already -- they just have the sickest beat boxer I have ever, ever, ever seen. (Also -- I'm a Vandy student, which is how I know this. I've seen them live)
