  • Why didn't JESUS ever speak in tongues? Seems like we should be following Him and not men.....ppl just want to bring glory to themselves and show how much "power' THEY have....it's not about us. This is just ridiculousness and gibberrish at best. I don't believe in tongues.....don't care how intense the experience is, experience should not overrride what the Bible says......

  • @KingB2K8 Here's some good information-->Acts 2:4. God bless:)

  • I wasn't going to comment but tongues are a gift not all will poses. yes the bible says an interpreter is needed but that's when the utterance is directed to the masses through the message. And even as he speaks in tongues or receives what God is telling him, people may not understand but the power of it touches and manifests and sets an atmosphere of praise.

  • i love your singing

  • YEAH BUT IT WOULD NOT BE IN ORDER IF GOD WOULD ALLOW ME TO EDIFY THE CHURCH AND NOT EDIFY MYSELF IN A SPLIT SECOND OR TWO.... THESE PPL WITH THESE CRAZY CULTS THAT DON'T BELIEVE IN MUSIC AND TONGUES ARE A MESS! UGH DON'T NONE OF THEM SPEAK IN TONGUES... TONGUES ARE NOT SPOKEN IN AT WILL, BUT AS THE SPIRIT GIVE UTTERANCE... AND WATCH THESE "CHURCH OF CHRIST" PPL, NONE OF THEM HEAL, DELIVER, CAST OUT DEMONS, AND THEY AINT GOT NO POWER!

  • forgive those ppl who says dis is not da holy spirit n dat tongues r not from god or biblical. in my church, all we speak is spanish n da holy spirit uses someone by speaking in tongues. in God dere has 2 an order n organize...someone speaks in tongues...da holy spirit uses someone else 2 understand those tongues. n we feel da holy spirit wen it happens n dere always someone who understands it. yes...deres unknown tongues. some r from God n some r just straight from hell. cuz demons do speaks

  • Acts chapter 2 the spirt came on in and they began to speak in tongues. It was tongues like fire. When u receive the holy spirt not the sinners prayer but truly the holy ghost u receive his spirt and began to speak in tongues and began to walk in newness. And no tongues dont come after it comes there. That is in the bible!

  • @michemarie23 you're wrong speaking in tongues is a gift of the Holy Spirit as well as the gift to discern spirits I think you need to read a lil further my friend

  • @2Tooot No I understand perfectly. No sinners prayer will help. sorry they saying tongues come after isnt the truth..everyone who receives the holy spirit is evident by them speaking in tongues. Thats bible

  • speaking in tongues is a gift for those who are overfilled with the HOLY SPIRIT...!! a direct communication between self n GOD..! its this form of prayer nd praise that the devil cannot touch ..!! GOD IS GOOD..! tongues is powerful.!

  • Deitrick was bad back in the day..... We worship you in the spirit..

  • @TheMinistersofFire Thank you

  • @TheMinistersofFire

1 Cor 14:9 - Unless you speak intelligible words with your tongue how can anyone know what you're saying? You will just be speaking into the air."

Nothing magical or mystical about tongues. Dettrick is in direct violation of that scripture. How do we know he isn't putting a curse on them? We can't trust how it feels or what it looks like. Our experiences should be guided by what is explicitly found in the Bible. Not reading into it based on our experiences.

  • The devil don't want to acknowledge tongues because he doesn't understand what you are saying when you are speaking in this unknown language. Continue to let the rivers of living water flow from your well and don't try to justify your Holy, Heavenly language.

    A must see anointed man.....

  • I ain't going down without a fight, AMEN!!!!

  • I don't hear nothing about Christ.....just "going to the next level" and more tongues gibberish and prosperity mumbo jumbo.....get out of here.

  • @KingB2K8 Are you serious right now? THe anointing is so high in the place, even as I watch it and begin to pray myself, I feel as though I'm there worshipping right alongside any member of the congregation, even though I'm sitting right here on the computer at my desk. He has an anointing on his life and he definitely changed the atmosphere.

  • @djaygemini

All that tongues jibber jabber is not even biblical. Tongues are simply real languages spoken to spread the Gospel. Read Acts 2 in its entire context. Not babbling and bringing attention to yourself. If Paul were around today, he'd have a thing or two to say to America's "church"

  • @KingB2K8 : you just blaspheme the holy spirit, how dear you say that tongues don't exist, you don't know your bible man.

  • @MsMicheb

I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't know my Bible huh? Here's some Bible for you:

The word tongue simply means "language." it's an old school way of just saying "language" In Acts 2, both words, tongue and language, are used interchangably in the story of Pentecost. It even lists the people groups who heard and UNDERSTOOD the apostles speaking in their dialects about God.

This stuff Deitrick is doing is not even biblical. If he wants to speak in tongues it needs

  • @KingB2K8 I'm not really getting what you saying though? Are you saying that because it what's an actual language that it wasn't real tongues? Because the bible also speak to there being many tongues. There is the tongue that can't be interpreted which is a directly conversation to God. There is the tongue of edification which is for the body of christ to be edified. and there is the tongue of prophesy for which God through the holy spirit gives the interpretation to the mysteries of heaven.

  • @Okcflyboy86

No sir. When the word "tongue" appears in the Bible it only means "language." Tongue is just an old school, Old English way of saying language. In some places you might be asked, "What tongue do you speak?" as opposed to language. That is all. It's real languages.

When Paul uses the word he's referring to real languages, many different types of languages - Arabic, Farsi, German, French, Chinese, Tagalog, Italian, you name it. Paul was a missionary and traveled from place to

  • @Okcflyboy86

....to place sharing the Gospel with different people groups he met, all of whom spoke their own unique language. How else could Paul be understood and the Gospel be spread in those early days of the church? He would need to speak the language of the peoples he encountered.

This modern day foolishness is unbiblical and doesn't edify the church but brings attention to man. Our gifts need to edify one another and no one is edified if we can't understand it. If you want to learn

  • Ok....now I get it. First of, Paul was a highly educated man. He spoke every major language of the day (Hebrew, Aramaic, Latin, Greek, etc). That is how he was able to get the word out there to so many different groups. I think where you're getting mixed up is the interpretation. Speaking in tongues is a heavenly language. It is not comparable to any earthen language. HOWEVER, so that the body of christ can understand what heaven is saying the holy reveils the interpretation of what is said in..

  • @KingB2K8 ....tongues. If you notice on the day of Pentecost the bible speaks to them speak in other tongues but every man understood it in their own language. It's phonetically impossible to say one thing in that many different languages at the same time. Which means as the people were speaking in a heavenly language the holy spirit was giving each of them the interpretation of what was being said. Which is why they heard it in their own tongue.

  • @Okcflyboy86

No. Those in the upper room were speaking the real languages. The traveling Jews each heard their own dialect begin spoken in the commotion. Somebody spoke one language, someone spoke another but it was able to be understood by the Jews who heard them at Pentecost.

They heard the Gospel and eventually were saved. If they had the gift to interpret, that would imply they were already saved which isn't true. It was a sign to them so that they would believe.

  • @KingB2K8 The bible says that gifts come without repentance. Having the GIFT of interpretation is just that; having the gift of interpretation. I doesn't signify salvation anymore than the man in this video singing gospel music signifies salvation.

  • @Okcflyboy86

The true gift of tongues (languages) was used to convey the Gospel to those who had not heard it before. They heard, understood the message and were saved. That's what I'm saying. The gift was a means to convey the Gospel....not seek selfish ends, like it's used today.

  • @KingB2K8 The word of God is used to convey the Gospel. The gift of tongues is used to either convoy and message from heaven or to give a message to God. I would suggest you read 1 Corinthians14 again.

  • @Okcflyboy86

How do you explain 1 Cor. 14:28 - "Tongues, then are a sign, not to those who believe, but those who do not believe."

Tongues is a sign to the unbeliever like I said. They hear the Gospel in their language, and are saved. It's not meant to be used by us who already are saved to edify self. The whole context of the chapter is on edifying the church as opposed to the individual. I suggest you read the whole book of 1 Cor. to get the proper context of what Paul was saying. He was

  • @Okcflyboy86

....basically scolding the Corinthian Church for doing the same foolishness we see today. Read your Bible.

  • @Okcflyboy86

Isaiah went up into heaven and heard the angels praising God in Isaiah 6. It says, "I heard the angels...." if he understood what they were saying, then that defeats the whole heavenly language argument. Also this idea of a "heavenly language" is not unique to Christian circles. Other religions do the same practice. Even Satanists speak in tongues, the false kind. So it has nothing to do with God how its being done today. Do your research and see.

  • @KingB2K8 Well, sir you would be correct if Isaiah wasn't in a even when he was all of that. The very first line of that chapter should have let you know that. "In the year King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord." It is humanly impossible to look at God. That why when Moses add to him it told him that he could only see the back of him as he passed over a mountain.

  • @KingB2K8 Sorry I meant to type vision not even

  • @Okcflyboy86

.....about God, just read His Word. He has already revealed who He is and what He wants us to know about Himself.

Question: Jesus was God in the flesh and thus divine Himself, In John 17 he prays in the Garden ad it's recorded for us to read. It's understandable. Why didn't Jesus speak a heavenly language then? If He didn't do it, we don't need to. You're dablling in demonic stuff and calling on spirits indeed, but it's not God. God is not the author of confusion.

  • @KingB2K8 Well, to be honest I really don't know. But if I had to guess I would say because he didn't have to. let me answer your question with one of my own. If you are a club owner and you pull up to your own club would you expect to stand in line with everyone else? Nope. Why? Because you have ownship of the club. Likewise I feel that since Jesus is a part of the trinity (Father, Son, Holy Ghost) why would he need to use tongues?

  • @MsMicheb

.....to be Biblically done. Real languages spoken, not this jibberish. 'Sa na co mo no ba sha ba da" REALLY? What does that mean?

These false tongues are either demonic or its just made up based off emotionalism. Notice the nice music. Music can be used to hyponotize and play tricks on the mind. It's all psychological manipulation at best. God is not the author of confusion. If I don't know what youre saying, I want no part of it. That's truth.

Busque este revestimento God tem to you tambem.

  • I aint qoin down without a fiqht !!!! As im sittinq here in my livinq room i can feel the presents of God ... God Bless Deitrick Haddon for this word... to us younq people..and all

  • Oh my goodness the war cry @ 4:33 is bananas!

  • @lyndaj1974 You are absolutely right, that war cry was inspired of the Spirit of the living God.

  • keep fighting the good fight of faith which is the Lord Jesus Christ the first from the dead to live forever, amen

  • I can feel the anointing praise Jesus, thank you Jesus

  • woooooooooooooooooow... thats all you can say about this mans gifting God bless you man of God

  • Mark 16:17 - 18

17-And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18-They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

  • People who say tongues are gibberish are denying the power of the Holy Spirit and they are being religious which is a form of godliness buy denying the power of God. Tongues are real. The power of God is real. Do not be deceived by the enemy.

  • @mynameisblankspace theres a lil truth in what ur saying....But u should look in the bible and study what god says regarding the gift of tongues

  • @eliasdefils thats lol bit disrespectful how o you expect him to fit everything in one vid...

  • this is powerfulll....he is my favorite singer

  • Comment removed

  • I was there when he preached! It was so amazing, I was in the spirit for tha rest of the night!

  • this is a joke..people need to understand when the bible talks bout speaking in tongues and we need not be decieved.

  • @azraelblame Your comments are foolish ingnorant and unlearned in the things of God.

  • @sg960 what can you say typical "righteous saint', if someone doesn't agree with you then shoot them down and degrade them. do you even know why i made my comment? ofcoz you do, YOU are learned in the things of God. give me a verse please then only can we determine who's foolish and don't reply me if you going to be emotional.

  • @azraelblame Matthew 16:17 this is the great commision. You say that the Apostles were speaking in an known language, but my question is what language were they speaking in?What language was Peter speaking in for all of these men to even know what he was saying. The only people who were preaching at that point were the 11 Apostles, because that had not replaced Judis yet. If you know anything about math you woud no that 14 is greater than 11. There were 14 different nations in that crowd.

  • @sg960 hold on right there mate. what has Matthew 16:17 to do with tongues? don't use scripture in the wrong context to suit how you want to believe something. and note i never said anything about the apostles speaking in a known language but now that you brought it up i might as well point out that you do give Christianity a bad name for trying to defend something you dont understand and in your case its not even a case of faith. now, borrow a bible and read Acts 1:14-17, Acts 2:1-13.

  • @sg960 APOSTOLIC DOCTRINE IS THE ONLY BIBICAL DORTRINE GOD ORDAIN READ ACTS CHAPTER 2

  • forgive a saint of the most high God but all these comments about tongues Why argue?? Man these days we need tongues and any other gift God has for us. I take them. All of them. God is good and his mercies endures forever. Lets not forget that all eyes who see this are not saved. Arguing is worldy and it does not please God. Lets get on one accord and watch God move! Glory to God!

  • @prayerwarrior1995 yes but when you speak in tongues according to the BIBLE, there should be interpretation to edify the church otherwise you are just edifying yourself. I didn't say it, the bible said it. Other than this, he's a great preacher

  • @ShawBrothersGirl Gods business I will not argue it does nothing to do so. Peace!

  • @prayerwarrior1995 you know something prayerwarrior thanks for reminding me why the messiah is going to tell so many people depart from me ye worker of iniquity I never knew you. Thanks for this. Ok peace

  • I see there are some who are asking about interpreters and I know where you are getting that from but, your comments make it plain that you don't understand tongues and how they work. With that being said you should comment on something you don't fully understand. When he was speaking in tongues it was not for our edification. I won't get to far in depth but you should do a study on tongues before you make silly uneducated remarks.

  • Powerful stuff

  • Comment removed

  • @Mzjameela trust me he's not saying anything..he's a good singer though

  • We Can't keep saying these things brothers & sisters, it is not the job of the Holy Spirit to hit you in the face or to throw you across the building. Please know that I am not trying to be rude or denote anyone brother Deitrick is a great singer and i have love for him as my own brother. My only concern was that a lot of times preachers preach like this, many people goes home not remembering a thing except all the had to do with what's going on in their lives instead of the wod of & God Emotion

  • @ono4070 In Acts 2:3 says " as divided tongues as of fire" obviously not literal flames but Fire in the OT often indicates the presence of God, in his burning holiness and purity. these tongues or languages portray both purity and power of God, this is clearly a miracle of speaking, a phenomenon experienced by the disciples of acts and of pentecostal christians today. The Holy Spirit directed the syllables they spoke, i have experienced this my self and it is not gibberish, its very doctrinal.

  • @TheApostolicFIRE The speaking in tongues in our days are not biblical simply because every time in the new testament this gift was given it was by the will of God not the will of man. First of all who is there to interpret for MR. Deitrick ? no one. The Holly Spirit gave utterances when they spoke in tongues in the New Testament enabling that specific person that God wants to hear the Gospel hear what is being said. We don't need it because the word of God is in all languages.

  • @ono4070 Im sorry i see that you have not been baptized by the Holy spirit yet, i guess this means that you don't believe in the prophetic also. its sad to see that sum believers today are still not gifted in the spirit. At the age of 13 i was baptized in the spirit and it was like fire all over my body and i spoke in tongues. As i go to minister to other countries when i prophecy i first speak in tongues then my words began to speak to their native language.....don't speak what u don't know.

  • @TheApostolicFIRE Baptism does not introduce the Holy Spirit into a person. It takes the Spirit of God within a person to convince them of Christ and bring them to faith. Baptism is an outward emblem of that internal faith. It is a public declaration of someone's identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. The real baptism is when the Holy Spirit baptizes you into the body of Christ. (First resurrection)

  • Comment removed

  • @ono4070 my friend i see that you are very confused in your doctrinal beliefs, what the disciples experienced in Acts 2 was a baptism in the spirit " And they were filled with the Holy Spirit ". Jesus said " John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now. Alan Cairns speaks of heresy. people like Oral Roberts, Billy Graham, T.L. Lowery, Dr Michael Scantlebury, Cindy Jacobs all speak in tongues and would all agree with me, i stand by my comments

  • @TheApostolicFIRE Billy Graham speaks in tongues? I didn't know that.

  • @ono4070 Stupid foolish and ignorant commet

  • @TheApostolicFIRE According Acts 2 if your read the whole passage, it was all people from different parts of the world, Which was said by the Prophet Joel that it would a been done this way. You do not just get up our of no where and start speaking a different language that you your self never knew. Yes they spoke in tongues in there it was so that the other people from other places could understand. It does not happen today. Even in the Book of Hebrews they speak of these things in past ts.

  • @ono4070 Just remember what angelical tongues are, they are not tongues that are spoken in the world today. They are "angelical" tongues get it.? The bible says that him who talks in "angelical" tongues talks to God, since nobody understands him(1 corinthians 14:2). At the same time, God will sometimes give tongues in which its actually some one's actual language so that they can understand you in a way

  • @MoeChosenSaxPlaya Anyone who speaks against tongues is a combination of bad teaching and hating because they don't do it. This is indeed John Calvinism trash teaching.I indeed speak in a language that I have not learned it is Inspired of the Holy Ghost. This language is not even controlled by me but it is governed by the Spirit of the living God.

  • @ono4070 Foolish comment

  • @TheApostolicFIRE Thank you so much for this. I'm glad the Bible tells us to seek understanding for ourselves. It important that we know for ourself. And if you've never felt it for yourself then you have no idea the joy you'll gain from it

  • @TheApostolicFIRE right..

  • WHEN YOU FREE YOUR SELF FROM THE FLESH AND JUST WORSHIP GOD WITH EVERYTHING IN YOU; WHEN YOU WORSHIP UNTIL YOU ARE AT THE FEET OF GOD YOU WILL SPEAK IN TONGUES.

  • The Worship The Word and then the Glory!!!!

  • The Worship The Word and Then the Glory!!

  • The Worship The Word and Then the Glory!!

  • the spirit of God hit me threw this video GLORY BE TO GOD.

  • One word................. chills

  • God is so amazing. I've been looking for videos like these.

  • this man is great!

  • wow awesome psalmist and minster God Bless u sir

  • I aint going down, without a fight!

  • Thank you for posting. WONDERFUL sermon!

  • i cant speak for nobody else! u go deitrick! to GOd be the glory...keep on with allowing God to use you...i just wish you wouldnt use old wordly micheal jackson beats...the Lord says sing a new song...i kno God is able to give you a song without going to the world...he has done it before with your past albums THAT WERE AWEsOme!

  • AMEN BRO!

  • @SmookinAces Perhaps he is doing what GOD is leading him to do. This isn't about you, this is about the Word God has led Mr Haddon to preach. How isn't up to you and you shouldn't second guess what God has told someone else.

  • @Prncssmn7 Pretty sure God didnt tell him to take a song from the world.again like I said the Bible says make a new song unto the Lord,& also to not add or subtract anything from His word.Hes not making a new song?So why do you thnk Mr.Haddon is an exception?God isnt a God of confusion or one that cant make up His mind.whats set in His word is set.God isnt of the world so why should we be? He says your in the world but be not of it

  • interpretations of the bible vary from person to person. that's why God sends us pastors. Speaking in tongues is not simply "speaking in another language". close relationship with God brings you to a level of communication with him through the Holy Spirit. you are right, the preaching is not being done in this particular video, look at video 2.... God bless

  • @cocobeanz14 All interpretations of the Council of God is to be taught the same as written by the revelation of the Holly Spirit meaning when God chose to reveal his word to you as written in the bible. According to Paul's letter to Timothy, Notice He never told him to pay attention to speaking in tongues(Speaking another known language) but to sound doctrines, In fact this kind of preaching will not hold in a true biblical seminary because there is no doctrine from the bible being taught.

  • @ono4070 So apparently you know every language that's spoken on the face of the Earth right? And instead of criticizing this man....why don't you just keep him in your prayers? We're supposed to care! God Bless You...

  • @ono4070

It's all about what level or realm of the spirit you are on. You'll get there one day.

  • @ono4070

You really don't know do you? Thank you God for setting me free! No longer Bound, No more chains holding me.

  • whoo jesus!!! i can feel the annointing right now even through the computer!! he is so powerful and he isnt ashamed to sing about, preach, and teach the gospel!!! i luv u deitrick "i aint goin down without a fight"!! hallelujah!!!!! "what ever it takes Jesus"!!!

  • Me too. Only those who have been baptised in the Holy Spirt, know the feeling. I felt the spirt the minute this man opened his mouth. A lot of people don't believe in speaking in tongues, but it is real. I speak and pray in tongues almost daily. Speaking in tongues is a direct voice to God. We may not know what we are saying, but God does. Glory be to God!

  • @califgirl11 i agree at first i used to be unsure about it but when i got filled with the holy spirit my mouth was blabbing away in tongues and i couldn't control it! it's special because that is a way of communicating to the lord that the enemy cannot understand and thats why i thank him for that because the enemy can use your prayers against you

  • Man you are good thank god for you and i wish i had that gift

  • why not be content with the gift God gave you? you were not created in imperfection, maybe your gift has not yet been developed, but it is there. Love you for you! God already does!
