Other than his Gold medals, what did Phelps do to merit such attention by an NBA team? It is not surprising why the Kings are doing so horrible this year. The Kings are decades away from an N.B.A. championship.

Why wasn't Phelps honored by every N.B.A, N.F.L., and M.L.B. team?? SAC Kings are immature. Swimming is a mechanical sport. There is evidence to suggest that Phelps "success" was ensured by corrupt Chinese officials and his same U.S. sponsors that manufacture certain goods in China. China is notorious for corruption.

Of course Michael should be honoured, it doesn't matter that it was by an NBA team. Michael excels beyond any other swimmer in the pool. That's the problem with sports today. NBA players don't mix with NFL, MLB don't mix with NHL etc. What a load of shit! Any great player/swimmer should be honoured for their achievements. Michael Phelps deserves all the attention rather than most over-paid, over-hyped atheletes anyway!
