  • ALL Duo Core SUCK no matter how much GHz and and quad cores are the best 6 core are slower than quad core DOESN'T MAKE SENCE also I you have 64-bit you'll need 4gb DDR2 or 3 or I wount be usful at all

  • core 2 duo xtreme 3.4 ghz!!!

  • @gasty2012 i have core 2 dual e5700 clocked at 3.45! ?

  • So just to get this straight the intel I5 quadcore 3Ghz will be fast the pc I'm going to get has this

  • this is the most boring way to say "4 cores are faster than 2 cores".

  • @cooliodude96529 Actually, the individual cores are SLOWER on a Quad core, having 4 of them if nice for multi-tasking but if you play an older game that doesnt support Quad or Dual core, the faster single core speeds of Dual core can be very usefull :D

  • Core 2 duo e8600 3.4 GHz (:

  • try this intel celeron Vs quad Core :D

  • Is it really fair to compare a dual-core to a quad-core? Also, is it fair to compare a Core-2 processor with a i3-i7 processor?

  • Does ANY core 2 duo processor supports ddr2 rams?

  • thanks for posting this video

  • Does the Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 support DDR3 1333Mhz RAM?

  • @lendemen95 Yes. It falls down to your motherboard to allow it. Some motherboards require over-clocking to achieve the 1.333Ghz clock.

  • @DicardTube thanks, lucky i haven't buy anything yet

  • Badly need help plz...i want to know which type or processor will be the best for my G41-M7 motherboard LGA 775 sockets (the Intel Core 2 Quad, the Intel core 2 Duo, Pentium Dual Core or the Celeron Dual-core...Plz help

  • remember core 2 duo are better in gaming then quad core in my opinion

  • @TheKabir009 Compare a dual core with a quad core using a program that uses more than 2 cores and you'll notice the differences

  • IT AINT HARD CORE UNLESS ITS HEXACORE

  • Hello, between a core 2 quad vs i3 vs core 2 duo wich is more powerful?

  • so what's better.. a quad core or a core 2 duo? I heard some core 2 duos are better than a quad core.. note i didnt say core 2 quad

  • i have a quad core,and i think it kicks ass

  • core 2 duo is faster pound for pound compared to core 2 quad.

only buy a core 2 quad if you are going to use all 4 cores otherwise you are buying a slower cpu unless you spend a lot of money.

for £100 you can pick up a 3.0GHz core 2 duo while for £100 you can only get a 2.3GHZ core 2 quad. If you are going to be multitasking then go for the core 2 quad which but if you are going to be playing games the core 2 duo is faster as games currently only use 2 cores :)

  • @ryanbryne

there are lots of new games that can use 4 cores.

  • @ryanbryne Some games use 6 cores already. Most new games support 4 cores!

  • @ryanbryne Lol.... dont see the Ghz lol.... 1.80 Ghz core 2 quad = 3.20 core 2 duo perfomance lol.... Core 2 quad better and get more fps to play Newest games lol.... exepct u play underground 2, crashday, San andreas.etc. lol..... i get core 2 duo 2.93 Ghz last month and play underground 2 frm 35 fps- 60 fps lol and i get core 2 quad at 45 fps - 60 fps lol....

and i get 17.4 fps [average] benchmarks on GTA 4 and 24.9 fps [average] benchmarks lol...

soo dont show off if you didn't know a shit...

  • @ryanbryne i know You have core 2 duo then u said core 2 duo better

  • yo tengo una core 2 duo y me funciona de las mil maravillas ^^

  • Core 2 duo :D

  • Which is faster?

    A 1.733 Dual Core or a P4 3.2 GHz?

  • 1 .-AMD PHENOM XD

  • @sieck16 Soñá con eso, fan de AMD !

  • @PATRIENIX Jaja

  • C2Q is faster than i5, but i5 fully utilizes its 'slower' speed, so it's neck to neck with the C2Q

  • i have intel pentuim 4 and i am happy

  • @idbenomar I'm not meaning this bad or anything, but I used to have a Pentium 4 3.4GHz until I decided to upgrade since I finally had the money. I got an Intel Core 2 Quad 2.83GHz and I was amazed at the speed increase. I'm telling you where to spend your money, but just letting you know. I almost wet myself on the speed increase.

  • @Donalddln well thx, i wish i have enough money to buy intel core 2 Quad ,untill that i am gona be stuck with petium 4, btw sorry for bad english.

  • i7 fucks all other intel inside, intel outside, and intel genuine(TM) penis(R).

  • i have a 100 euro amd athlon II X4 620 and ít's close to the perfromance of the q9550 and less than half the price

  • 1. core i7 quad

    2. core i5 quad

    3. core 2 quad

    4. core i5 duo

    5. core i3 quad

    6. core 2 duo

    7. core i3 duo

  • @BSUMusic Core i3 is better the a core 2 duo...

  • @W40Kluvr bullshit, gta 4 requires quad core for recomended

  • @badassmastermax i have that

  • @TheFuckoverheader oh...ok

  • @badassmastermax #i play gta 4 maxed out with core 2 duo e8400 @ 3 ghz

  • @Mrantiemo99 really?? what graphics card do u have and how many frames per second? and do u think same can be accomplished with a e7500 with 2.93GHz?

  • @W40Kluvr With a quad core you can load faster and if your using high end Video card's like a HD 5970 or 5870 Youll need a faster CPU if you dont wanna bottleneck your GPU

and it is also needed for Physic's if you are playing a physic's massive game like Half life 2

or Crysis or Gmod youll need a faster CPU for massive collapses

  • @CobraGMW2

yes but when you paly at non hd resolutins you dont need core 2 quad an 5850

then a core 2 duo and a 9800 gt is more then enought

  • @Mrantiemo99 hah. thats what you have!

    i play at 1440x900 with HD 5770 ( next target = HD 5850)

    with Core 2 Quad Q9400 2.66 GHz

you have no idea what you are saying.

i7 is also better then i5.

If you arent smart it is useless talking bullshit here.

  • @CobraGMW2

when want iget new things thats no prob but the i5 is better in gaming cause:

    its cheper -

it has enought power to play all the games .

friend off me gets an i7 920 he selled it cause he needs mony he bought an used i5 ( from his uncle ) and he said that some games perform bettre in games .the i7 is for profassional redering ot for the ´´normal´´gamer . my finish : i5 is better.

also im a amd fan but i think the i5 and the i7 are nice choises, too.

    p.s the 5850 dont worth for you.lg

  • whatever.

  • i think core 2 duo is the best processor for everyone. We dont need i7 at least for now. C2D is taking care of all the stuff. I bet we will need an i7 after 5 years.

  • HD ???????

  • can someone help me?

    Core 2 Duo E8400 and Core 2 Quad Q8400?

    Which one is better?

  • @rocketman5011 q8400

  • @rocketman5011 depends on what you do most of time.

if you do a lot of enconding, videos, 3d and photo editing. then the q8400 is the way to go.

else that if you play games, surf the web and type some word documents. the e8400 is way better.

see it this way. 65w on cpu, become 32,5w on a dual core and 16,25 on a quad.

higher watts mean better performance. also the e8400 got 6 megs shared.

the Q8400 got 3 megs for each 2 cores. 2*3=6.

    hope it help!

  • @rocketman5011 obviously quad is better.

  • Why would you compare a dual core to a quad core? That's such a bad comparison...

  • @wekkzz1000 if 1.Intel i7 then 0. Intel core 2 Extream

  • core2 duo is the best. if you want a good old intel quad core sytem, buy two core2 quads

  • intel core2 duo is better

  • @gdog124934gta3 how?? i dont mean this insultin im intrested

  • old shit

  • whats better a 3.4 ghz 4mb cache or 2.92 with 8 mb cache?

  • @alanibanez depending on what your running, i would like the 2.92 8mb cache

  • @shiftctrlhack do you mean OS?

  • @

    alanibanez

    2.92 with 8 mb cache

  • thanks

  • @alanibanez 3.4ghz. The cache is calculated as a cycling spins that help the processor, something like the RAM does. Cache and RAM are helpers, but not the brain. so always aim for higher GHZ

  • shitty instructor............................

  • which is better?

  • nob question: I have a core 2 duo processor on my toshiba satellite laptop. Can i just buy an i5 processor and upgrade my memory to 4 gib of ram without changing anything else?

  • no the procesor sockets are diferent

  • @bl3ujay07 if the socket will fit yes it will support it, you will have to update the bios for the 4gb ram tho most bios are set for the 2, it will not read the 4 gb on most cases until you go to your manufacturing website and update the bios. do that before even upgrading the ram.

  • Core 2 Duos are using Pentium 4 sockets which has 478 pins, i3/i5/i7(8xx) is using 1156 pins and i7(9xx) is using 1366 pins

  • @wj0102 core 2 duo are socket 775 not 478 like the old ones pentium4..thera are also new pentium like pentium d that are using socket 775..

  • @wj0102 wtf u dont kno wat ur talkin about i've got a e7600 LGA775 (the "775" bit is the amount of pins idiot)

  • @wj0102 The pentium 4 came with either a 478 socket or a 775 socket. The core 2 duo use the 775 socket.

  • @lanens969

    26 Ghz too much :)

  • the i7 is fine, its not that expensive, and dont u think a i7 at 4.2ghz will last a little longer then a i5? the i7 is extreamly easy to clock (atleast the 920 one) with air cooling up to 4.4ghz without even changing the vcore on some of them, or just changeing it very very little, think water cooling on that <.<

  • 1. Intel i7

    2. Intel i5

    3. Intel Core 2 Quad

    4. Intel i3

    5. Intel Core 2 Duo

    6. Intel Dual Core

  • my pc have intel core 2 quad q8400 26GHz

  • QUAD win i3 ?! O.O !

  • @TanJianWei92 ya i didnt know too. i guess cos it has quad which means 4 times the processing speed....comapred to 4 virtual processing speed for i3.

  • @wellzz1000 Realy? i thought i3 is better than core 2 Quad?

  • @Tommydudez

Core 2 Quad is still faster than Intel i3. Intel i3 is the low budget chip. also 2 core design. It cannot outperform the Core 2 Quad since these are still high end Cpu's.

  • @wellzz1000 A Intel i5 is still a Duo Core.

  • @wellzz1000 dude i3 is better dan ceq cuz of no fsb limitz n a level 3 cache !

  • @mokujin29

show on an dual core ranking and you see wihich one is better.

  • @Mrantiemo99 dude . .chek on d cpubenchmarks .. .i3 performs at par than teh lower quads!

i olso say dis from personal experience . . :)

  • @mokujin29

ah no my brother got an i3 and i got an 8400 and MY cpu is faster .

and when you look at cpu ranking list you see that the e8400 perform better...

and its better to overclock and when you overclock the e8400 to 3.6 ( thats no prod you dont have to ge a good mainboard and you dont have to get cpu cooler its perfect to oc cause its very ..oc friendly^^

you can get with an e8400 @ 3.00 ghz low quads and with 3.6 or 4ghz lo-mid quads,

    bb my personal experience

  • @Mrantiemo99 u can c 4 urself mate . .

btw due to hyperthreading™, it also perfoms better in multithreaded programs . .!

  • @Mrantiemo99 utube wont let me post any url :(

  • @wellzz1000 my Friend has i7,i have Intel Core 2 Quad

  • @wellzz1000 1intel i7 2 amd phenom 2 x6 1055t 3intel core i5 4 amd phenom 2 x4 965 or 945 5intel core 2 quad 6 intel core 2duo 7 intel core i3 8 intel dual core the i3 is not very fast the core 2 duo e8400 is much faster
  • @wellzz1000

    1.Intel Xeon

    2. Intel i7

    3. Intel Core 2 Quad

    4. Intel i3

    5. Intel Core 2 Duo

    6. Intel Pentium D

    7. Intel Pentium Celeron

    8. Intel Pentium 4

  • @wj0102 Xeon FTW

  • @wellzz1000 Core 2 quad beats some i7 stupid

  • @wellzz1000 Core 2 Quad is better than i3 ??

  • @wellzz1000

    theres intel pentium 4?

  • @wellzz1000 i3 is 5% faster than core 2 quad

  • A Core 2 Quad with higher clock speeds can beat an Intel Core i3. And also, a quad core can take advantage of using quad core to perform demanding multitasking applications instead using dual core with hyper-threading enabled. Also, an overclocked Core 2 Quad such an example to 4.2 GHz with aftermarket cooling can beat the newer CORE i5 Processors. With this, no wonder you can still use the Core 2 Quad for years without breaking the bank to buy newer Intel processor.

  • @iluvthispage Good job i got i5 760 quad core @4GHZ!

  • @wellzz1000 Awesome! Core 2 quad comes third!

  • @wellzz1000 4 same Clock ? 8-)

  • @wellzz1000 lots of core 2 quad's are faster then i5's

  • i think i5 or amd phenom is the best to buy. i7 is waste if money

  • Well, Core i7 is definitely the enthusiasts' choice when it comes to the high-end, but it's still quite a bit up there in price right now. Though for the rest of us, the Phenom II X4 or the Core i5 is a great choice for quad-cores on a budget. They perform very well and can overclock like a champ.

  • so which is better? intel core2 duo? or intel quad core? or intel i7? they dropped the old intel core duo replaced with intel core2 duo..which is better from 1 being the best n 2 and 3 being the lesser.

  • @razehey

First of all making this simple.

Intel Core Duo>>> Improvements..Core 2 Duo>>> for those who wanted more cores... Core 2 Quad which are 2x times Core 2 Duo on 1 processor chip.

New architecture and design with onboard memory controller. Intel i7 !!! 4 cores on die!!.

Ranks from best to last !!

    1. Intel i7 ofc.

    2. Intel Core 2 Quad

    3. Intel Core 2 Duo

    4. Intel Core Duo.

  • core 2 duo is 10000000 times better than core 2 quad

  • @fahadznt

    U= total Failure...

  • you are very nub

  • @fahadznt no mate it;s the other way round

  • i would pick the one that money can buy.

remember you can buy a expensive cpu .

but do you really need it the upcomming 2 years .

maybe a slower cheaper cpu will get you 2 years further aswell.

and then in 2 years , you buy a new motherboard with another socket and you were glad you didnt buy a expesive 1 .

because now you need a new 1

  • am notsure which is better for gameing core2 quad or core 2 duo

  • for gaming , pick the largest number of core , since your gonna run a lot of application at the same times , like Core i7 , which has 8cores , or Core 2 Quad, for those who are on a budget

  • @cjgan80 core i7 has 4 cores! Noob

  • "Noob! Noob! Noob! Noob! Noob! Noob! Noob! Noob! Noob! Noob! Noob! Noob! Noob! Noob!"

God damn, just shut up already. Or at the very least, come up with some decent insults.

  • @cjgan80 lol Core i7 got 4 cores and 8 theaths idiot!. And most games supports 2 cores only.

  • i was ment to say 8 threads but i said 8 cores , not much of a problem noob , just grammartical oder nubs...

  • @cjgan80 lol lies..

  • @chakiller36 LOL yeah he lied to save his ass LOL

  • quad = 4

    duo = 2

    So core2 quad= 8 = best

    and core2 duo= 4

  • @CwalkDarvinq Core 2 is the next level of core processors so

core 2 duo has 2 processors! not 4

    Noob!!

And core 2 quad has 4 wow noobs!

  • @CwalkDarvinq

    LOL

    So funny xD

Core 2 Quad doesnt mean it has 8 cores

Core 2 stands for the name.. 2nd generation.

    Its just a name...like Intel Pentium. 1 2 3 and 4.

Core Duo...and than Came Core 2 Duo... and after that.. Came Intel i7..

    A total new name..

  • @SynodCenturion yeah but dun forget the i3 and i5 too.

  • fuck them both the i7 is the Best !!!

  • yup! i7 all the way! i7 920 OC'd @ 3.33

  • @Mou5les1 nah i9 is gonna be ULTIMATE!

  • So i take it the Core I3 series will be Intels dual core budget segment.

  • intel i7 core fucks all these other intels

  • It's smart enough to know how to distribute the workload effectively isn't it?

    So whether it's 2 or 8 threads it'll demolish a task.

I'd take the Core i7-860, since it has trusted execution and it's even faster than a 920 for $1 more, plus you can get a free copy of RE5 with it right now.

  • i have`nt money for this i7

  • lol look how old this video lol

  • lol

  • @TechxXxTutorialZ

    not really

the i5 is n gaming faster but the i7 in rendering ..

gor an i7 you pay 200- 950 euro and for an i5 may 170 euro

amd phenom 2 x4 965 cost 150 euro and fuck the i5 .... and for 20-40 euro more you get and amd phenom 2 x6 on an new sockelt wich is akktuell the nex 2 years and the 1156 is then stone age .

i would yought amd its cheaper and no so an criminal ( unternehmen ) like intel.

    LG

  • @TechxXxTutorialZ Not all of dumbo, Core 2 quad 9650 beats the shit out of i7 930 and yeah.

  • Quad core is the future. Temporary only. 6 cores and more threads are on the way.

  • Shouldnt it be 8?

  • im getting tired of dual core gaming vs quad core . if a game can only use 2 cores. the core 2 quad will not have any advantage or disatvantage both will perform exactly the same. how ever if the game is made for quad. consider the dual core raped. but most games use 2 cores. so imo. get a dual core. unless you want to use big graphics cards and alot of them

a dual core would bottle neck powerful graphics.

  • E8500 is great!! performance and Graphics in chipset!

  • i7@3.0

    4890x2 1 gb

    6 gigs ddr3 ram

  • core 2 quad

    4890x2 1gb

    4gigs ddr3 ram

    :D

    crysis on ultra high

  • That's what everyone wants to say -_-

  • intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650 3.00GHz

  • intel core i7 is better than both of them

  • yeah, but also much more expensive

  • of course it is like 4 times stronger

  • obiously.

  • ei man E4600 E5700 E7400 ARE ALL VERY GOOD THEY RUN ALL THE GAMES AND THEY WILL RUN FUTURE GAMES FOR LONG

  • E8400 include?

  • for me the best is E4600 2.4 ghz

  • guys can you answer my question???

which is better a intel core2 duo E6300

    OR

    a core 2 duo E7400??

    plz answer me

    THX

  • r u kidding the e7400 is a much better buy, higher FSB,compatible with DDR2 or 3 (future proofing) and a hell of a lot of other features built on chip. If you can afford it go for the e7600

  • nice

  • Core 2 Duo E7400. But Im getting Intel Core2Duo E7500 2.93Ghz overclocked to 3.5Ghz!

  • amd kuma 7850 le gana a esas wea penka hajhajahaj y es mucho mas barato

  • I need help.......what is better.....? Amd phenom x4 9550 2.2Ghz VS intel core 2 duo E8400 3.0Ghz.........please help and thanks....!!

    sorry for my english

  • AMD

  • what is better Intel® Core™2 Quad Q8400 2,66GHz or Intel® Core™2 Duo E7400 2.80GHz?I need to know cuz i'm buying a new computer!

  • core 2 quad becouse quad stands for 4 cores which are at 2.66 ghz in your case, where core 2 duo has 2 cores at 2.80ghz.

but it also depends what you want to do...

if youre a simple gamer that plays games like gta 4 and all this core 2 duo is enough. but if youre someone that plays games with fairly big requirements or you want to be running loads of programs at the same time get the quad.

    hope i helped

  • thx i got the quad you helped

  • ur welcome

  • if u are goingto game.. then the E7400 is better RIGHT NOW. in the future the Q8400 will be better.

  • exactly

  • and for the sake of being fair i take back the junk critic about intels 65w+ dekstop chips but they are powerdraining overpriced and have RF heat issues as you go up in watts, that much is true

  • a Ram Drive is not a HDD- WTF- Thats like me saying ok- then ill paird Dual Intel 64GB Super Server SSD's Drives and put them in raid-0 as the benchmark. lol. No- You take that Intel Atom- Pair it with a regular 7200 RPM hard drive and load Crysis on it. Also take that same HDD and put it in a an Intel Core 2 Quad system, then put an older 80GB drive and do the same thing. I guarantee you, a Hard Drive from 10 years ago, from 1999 would still work in most of todays PC's no problem.

  • greater freedom to control TDPvolts / frequency on a 130w cpu and being able to bring it down to 45w without it drifting out of operation would thwart many consumer frustrations.

  • Of course there will always be better performance to be had, but again, that doesn't stop and begin at HDD's performance. As far as you calling Desktop CPU's garbage because their rated TDP is over your liking but guess what- Modern day CPU's Smoke the shit out of your Favored ATOM which is actually closer in similiarity to a PPU and that of the Cell than a monolithic die. Modern day cpu's have even built in the memory controllers for higher bandwidth to limit bottlenecks.

  • so if your gonna fru your brains for 10% you might as well do it with a p4 and save 800$.

  • The point is its useless to get an i7 because youll get the same computing experience with a p4 unless you get a wd raptor an iram or a ramsan and put it in your p4 or i i7

if hdd speed did not dictate pc speed texas instruments would have not built the ramsan

    to eliminate the pc bottleneck

A gigabyte IRAM can boot windows XP in 4 seconds flat TRY THAT WITH WITH A CORE I7 AND A GTX 280 4GIGS OF RAM AND A BASIC HDD and youll realize it cannot be achieved. STORAGE SPEED DICTATES PC SPEED
