what i get out of this song is its someone about to committ suicide because grudges for one way or another.the other person is sympathizing explaining that what they did to his contorted,broken.its a broken spirit the reallity was they had no reason to continue break somones spirit.thats why in the song the persons saying their is no explanation for why it happened.though instead of committing sucide.calling someone nothing over and over again you owe me all that you are.you've never heard that.
