  • wow that got loud

  • @HALLSYSKITCHEN Sure did lol...Thanks!

  • So if you ever get chance to take a picture of it, we would all be very grateful. Especially me. I have been a siren geek for well over a decade, and these two rare sirens that could be the one in your video are my favorites. The other one was made by Federal Signal, and is called the Model 500AT.

And if the siren in your video turns out to be neither of these, that would be even better, because it would mean we found a previously unknown model, or variation of a siren we didn't know about.

  • it sounds more like a thunderbolt. but i know it isnt cause it sounds a little different from one.

  • i was totally thinking the same thing!!! ahh!!! is there anyway you could get a picture or maybe describe the siren for us Dave11686?

  • I'll see what I can do.

  • don't know. What is a rare 10/12 port Allertor? A type/make of siren?

  • It was made by ACA and it kind of looks like a toilet tipped forward... lol

  • The company, Alerting Communications of America(ACA) made a siren called "Allertor 125". This siren has not been made since the 70's or 80's. "10/12 port" describes the particular sound the siren in this video makes. Allertors do not usually have the 10/12 port sound. In fact, out of the thousands produced over the years, we only know of 2 or 3 that are 10/12. The sound of the siren in this video can only come from one of two sirens, the 10/12 Allertor, or another siren that is almost as rare.
