i want to share an idea i have to you for TOR,focusing on the character background story,for example: You were brought to the jedi order at a older age,you know how to protect yourself with blasters,grants blaster pistol weapon profiency and "use ranged weapon" skill(for those os you that dont support blaster wielding jedi i can tell you that its canon that jedi have used blasters in the past,BEFORE the lightsaber became the Symbol of the order)

i would love for bio ware to remake kotor with improved graphics DLC and such but keep story and voice acters/actresses and make some DLC where the main characters are Bastila, Carth, HK, T3, Zalbar, Misson, juhani, canderous, and jolee where you play as each character seperate in a small quest kinda like leliana song for DA where they have thier own friends and moments that changed them
I thought 1 was so much better than 2, 2 looked and played better but the story was so incredibly rushed. 1 was one of the best storylines in a game, ever.

Damn.. when you show empty Ebon Hawk, and she sings "I die" while I see that skeleton on Korriban and empty tomb with a flying monster... in this moments I feel my heart is breaking... althought I realize that neither Bastila nor Revan were dead in KOTOR. Nevertheless I feel so sad for them....

@Omega4736 Revan knew that Bastila would be in danger if she followed him to Dromund Kaas to assassinate the Sith Emperor and his love for her prevented him from allowing her to follow her there. That's why he left her behind even though i doubt he wanted to.

They took off there after the Great Hyperspace War and have been rebuilding their empire for revenge on the Republic. It's only logical that Revan went there to confront the Sith Emperor he and Malak faced after the Mandalorian Wars. And if you didn't know Darth Sidious later discovered Dromund Kaas thats how he became so powerful...god I'm such a nerd. lol
@Omega4736 Maybe I'm wrong but I know he found the ashes of the Sith Empire and nurtured it back to life. Even as he was the Senator and eventually the Chancellor he was training Sith apprentices on Dromund Kaas. I'm surprised that the Jedi weren't aware of Sidious because Master Yoda knew the Sith were on Dromund Kaas and directed a secret attack on it or something I read all of this awhile ago so I don't remember every detail.

Seeing this video reminds me how much Mass Effect 1 & 2 is an improvement over KOTOR, Bioware really stepped up their game with their RPG's. The 'head sliding from left to right' animation is pretty much the only one in the KOTOR conversations while in Mass Effect 2, it looks just like a movie.
Sorry kiddo, the overwhelming consensus is that the Mass Effect storyline, combat, and everything else is superior to KOTOR. It's a given though, it's made years after KOTOR. Nice try though.

I wholly agree! When I realized there were certain 'extras' available (interviews, behind the scenes) for ME2, I immediately thought 'DVD extras,' then remembered that it's a GAME, not a movie. I really hope Bioware keeps making games like ME. I love seeing the facial expressions and hearing the voice of my character.

Actually the only one that we really know is more powerful is Luke because of the whole "most powerful force user ever." We don't know how Revan's powers would hold up but if he succeeded in delaying the True Sith for 300 yrs with the Exile (a popular theory) than he's pretty damn powerful.
OTOH, he could have failed completely. We will likely never know.
I'll be willing to drop Bane, Jacen, and Obi-Wan, but I'm pretty confident of Anakin and Yoda's superiority, considering their "power levels" (so to speak).
@X1mtheDespot It doesn't really make sense though. The Republic had like 12 Jedi defending it by the time KOTOR 2 happened. It was in ruins, and weak and could not defend from a full scale invasion. Instead the Sith attacked 300 years later. We know now that Revan and Malak were supposed to pave the way for the True Sith to invade as the Emperor (who has been alive for at least 1000 years) chose them to. So we know that they were preparing for an invasion around the time of KOTOR .
While it is a strong argument, in the end it's fully speculative. There could have been other social or political issues that prevented the True Sith from invading. Remember that the Sith Emperor was still alive 300 years later for the Great Galactic War, and even if Revan somehow destroyed their whole military, why 300 years?
Other hypotheses: A conflict between the Sith and Chiss, or maybe the Emperor was one of the Race :P
Or maybe they both took down the TS leadership? Psychologically, Revan can mess up if he gets too proud--I've determined it might happen and am expanding on it in my own fiction.
I hate to tell you XGurthangX. There is a descendant of Bastilas and Revan's child that was in comic for the old republic. Get over it. Revan is part of the old republic timeline. Plus I rather hear more about this awesome character.
No Caedus (Jacen Solo)? He was my personal favorite, especially the way he died. (Killed by his sister while warning his love) Definitely the most tragic in my opinion.
Maul hadn't mastered it he had only learned some of the skills and Obi Wan is nothing compared to the old Jedi and in Star Wars history it was Exar Kun and his hilt was one that was the size of one hilt whilst maul had the hilt of two blades so Exar did alot better

I should point out guys--The next SW game is called "the Old Republic" and set 300 years after Revan and the Exile. Think Revan returns with a few Jedi Knights he trained there, the Exile dies to buy them to escape, and Revan heads the new Jedi Order. Just my opinion.
I think he and Exile died already or got captured. They bought time for Republic to rebuild and recover from war with Revan Malak. Some people speculate that the Sith Lord in Deceived trailer with the breathing device is Revan, who fell back to Dark Side.
What if Revan managed to train a single Jedi Knight who escapes when both Revan and Exile fall in battle? I'm working on a book, Revan narrowly survives, Exile dies to buy him and this unnamed student time to use a Force technique and escape to head the new Jedi Order...
No, no. The order has its leaders already. The Exile's companions in Kotor 2 took over it, when she left. I don't want to see any ''Secret apprentice of Revan'' or ''Revan's bastard son'' people on the server that I'll play on when the game hits stores.

It's not confirmed to be out in 2010. In fact, there's a strong belief that it could be out just before Christmas 2009.
ToR has been in development since 2005, and leaked pre-production information from a panel that hinted at some features of the star wars mmo way before ToR was announced which have so far proven 100% correct say that it will be released in 2009.

Yup I found that out on my second try, I was doing dark side at the time, but when I found out that u can save her, I immediately turned to head boy. Last I got LIGHT SIDE MAX =) XD.
Yea its easy to do that, but once u start to like her, theres no stopping. I remember playing Tatooine again and again jus to see her get all flushed up lolz =)

I wholly agree! When I realized there were certain 'extras' available (interviews, behind the scenes) for ME2, I immediately thought 'DVD extras,' then remembered that it's a GAME, not a movie. I really hope Bioware keeps making games like ME. I love seeing the facial expressions and hearing the voice of my character.

Lol, Yoda, Jacen, Luke, Anakin, and Obi-Wan are all more powerful than Revan. I'm pretty sure even Bane was more powerful.
Revan was the strongest in his time, but things change in 4000 years.

Actually the only one that we really know is more powerful is Luke because of the whole "most powerful force user ever." We don't know how Revan's powers would hold up but if he succeeded in delaying the True Sith for 300 yrs with the Exile (a popular theory) than he's pretty damn powerful.

I'll be willing to drop Bane, Jacen, and Obi-Wan, but I'm pretty confident of Anakin and Yoda's superiority, considering their "power levels" (so to speak).

@X1mtheDespot It doesn't really make sense though. The Republic had like 12 Jedi defending it by the time KOTOR 2 happened. It was in ruins, and weak and could not defend from a full scale invasion. Instead the Sith attacked 300 years later. We know now that Revan and Malak were supposed to pave the way for the True Sith to invade as the Emperor (who has been alive for at least 1000 years) chose them to. So we know that they were preparing for an invasion around the time of KOTOR .

While it is a strong argument, in the end it's fully speculative. There could have been other social or political issues that prevented the True Sith from invading. Remember that the Sith Emperor was still alive 300 years later for the Great Galactic War, and even if Revan somehow destroyed their whole military, why 300 years?
Other hypotheses: A conflict between the Sith and Chiss, or maybe the Emperor was one of the Race :P

Maul hadn't mastered it he had only learned some of the skills and Obi Wan is nothing compared to the old Jedi and in Star Wars history it was Exar Kun and his hilt was one that was the size of one hilt whilst maul had the hilt of two blades so Exar did alot better

I should point out guys--The next SW game is called "the Old Republic" and set 300 years after Revan and the Exile. Think Revan returns with a few Jedi Knights he trained there, the Exile dies to buy them to escape, and Revan heads the new Jedi Order. Just my opinion.

I think he and Exile died already or got captured. They bought time for Republic to rebuild and recover from war with Revan Malak. Some people speculate that the Sith Lord in Deceived trailer with the breathing device is Revan, who fell back to Dark Side.

It's not confirmed to be out in 2010. In fact, there's a strong belief that it could be out just before Christmas 2009.
ToR has been in development since 2005, and leaked pre-production information from a panel that hinted at some features of the star wars mmo way before ToR was announced which have so far proven 100% correct say that it will be released in 2009.
