I'm still working on it -- but the work is now coming along, slowly. Two months of seriously bad health is now over, and my brain is working better than ever -- poor old thing that it is.

Awesome post! Listening to you and then hearing you read from a work-in-progress is like participating in the creative process! When I eventually read the piece from which you read today, I'll remember this vlog! I wish other great writers shared in this way. Thanks so much!

Wow -- that's a great compliment! Thanks! It puzzles me that more writers don't use YouTube as a means of promoting their work, reading from new work, &c -- but probably they are too busy WRITING the new stuff! I hope to be there again, writing the weird fiction instead of just blabbing about it...

I was excommunicated for twenty-five years, during which time I became a radical queer punk rocker. I had a religious "epiphany" in 2002 and that returned me to the church. I like it, but I know that there, as everywhere, I am one big freak. But that;s cool, cos I like being freaky.

I didn't know you were Mormon, much less a gay one.

That's... not odd, persay--just surprising. Not surprising in the way that you're of the religion, just surprising that you're gay and you're of the religion. I've had some bad experiences with Mormons in the past (growing up in a small, close-minded town,) but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate them just as much as any other people.

Sorry about the writer's block. That's never fun. :(
