@lolzmastur I think you didn't hear, that exhaust sustems of naturally aspirated engines are calculated for length, diametes etc. cause of wave phenomenon. It makes exhaust gases fester and gives power. In t-bo-/super-charged engines backpressure will reduce torque ;) Regards

@nikothecrazygreek - Here in Brasil we've basically three kinds of fuel: Diesel (that can be bio diesel also), Ethanol (alcohol) and gasoline. Diesel here is just for truck, pick-up and SUV. There's no cars with diesel. Now a days 80% are flex, it means that you can run with gasoline or alcohol or both. The rest are just gasoline, the expensive cars are just gasoline. So this M5 are just gasoline. And I don't rebember any car that runs just with alcohol, not the new ones.

@stepxunit Nah, it's hard to stones and leaves etc to enter the exhaust, as they push out fumes at a pressure. And if anything did make it in, it would either be burnt due to excessive heat or be thrown straight back out! It's just the back box or tailpipes that have been removed. If the complete exhaust was removed and just left with the manifold, it would be even louder, but have pretty much lost about 40% of it's power.
