  • this was my very first CD. it describes my whole life

  • disconnect thr dots and be on your way!

  • The kids want ska

    -MK

  • smash mouth was right up there with my all time favorites for several years. first 2 or 3 albums are the best. astro lounge rules.

    :D

  • beginning to end a great album

  • geat cd...brings back good memories. It really is there best.

  • love the album, but especially LOAVE this track. FUCK YEAH!

  • Sucks that this is the only good album they made.

  • i use to listen to this CD in the loft at my dads house when he started to fight with his gf. this got me through those yeaars. i love this album especially so thank you

  • el classico avec PARDRINOOOOO :D

  • I FUCKING LOVE SKAAAAAA!!!

  • There's something about ska making you move is like whiout thinking much about it, suddently the legs start moving, or your head. Am I the only one feeling this? hope not

  • This song is my alarm clock in the morning. I wake up to Smash Mouth every morning haha. Man, Fush Yu Mang was an incredible album. I'm glad that Smash Mouth got big and made a good bit of money, but for selfish reasons, I wish they stayed true to their ska/punk beginnings. Fush Yu Mang was such an underrated album. Nervous in The Alley is one of my favorite ska songs.

  • the beginning of this reminds me of the angry beaver's theme song

  • Love the lyrics

  • I remember getting this album when I was in the fourth grade.

Good memories of a shitty time in my life.

  • Astro Lounge had a very chill and relaxed feel to it, I loved it. This was fun and upbeat. Both were amazing, I miss old Smashmouth.

  • if anyone isnt a fool they will recognize all the similarities of what smash mouth did that less than jake copied. however they are a great band in their own right

  • @rgatkins actually, Less Than Jake has been making ska albums since before smash mouth released Fush Yu Mang. this album was released in '97 i believe. LTJ's first albm pezcore came out in '94.

but i agree, both are very good bands.

  • Smash mouth? Ska Punk? FUCKING EPIC

  • Whoooooosh, some memories here

  • this whole album is the SHIT and has great energy and sounds, very underrated album...

  • @BagpipeHustler Fuck yeah dude. I was into this record balls deep before I even knew what Ska was. Haha.

  • @BagpipeHustler For a minute I thought you said the album was SHIT and I was gonna be like "fush yu mang!!!" ;P

  • OMG,im hearing this band first time:D

  • really? they were HUGE in the late 90's/early 2000's.

this is their earlier stuff though, which is much better in my opinion :{D>

  • @belchingdonkeyy absolutely

  • Summer Girl and Fush Shu Mang are my favorite Smash Mouth records! :D

  • I have to disagree with most this I think is Smash Mouth's best along with Astro Lounge, which wasn't bad, just different the rest was mostly gay except for some singles

  • was i the only one hoping that of montreal did a cover song of a smash mouth song?

  • the good smash mouth died after astro lounge... this song is one of the best of smash mouth!

  • Yeah, after this they sucked big time...

  • @sloba111 summer girl is an alrite album.. it's different but its still alrite, theres only a couple of good songs in get the picture and smash mouth though

  • Oh,shit I forgot about Stoned. Thats a good one! waste is pretty good as well. I also know what you mean by alot of people not knowing that they use to be a good ska/punk band. I was actually in my car listening to Padrino with my friend and he was like I like this who is it and I said its Smash Mouth then he was like WHAT! THIS is Smash Mouth! So yeah its kind of a bummer that the cards were dealt that way but at least we'll always have Fush Yu Mang and Astro Lounge to show they were once great

  • yeah astro lounge wasn't that bad, but I think if they put a few ska songs and a punk song like ''push'' or ''let's rock"on it, it probably would have been just as good as fush yu mang. Although I do have to say "roadman", and "home" are fantastic songs!

  • I had such high hopes for this band when Fush Yu Mang came out. Astro Lounge had a few good songs, but after that they just went downhill.

  • agreed. I loved this CD.

  • amen brother. they totally rocked the vanderbilt in plainview long island back when this cd first came out and harwell was the drunkest lead singer i'd ever seen and he was still be able to perform. they started to suck once disney and movie soundtracks came their way. what a waste.

  • Thanks for posting! I can't find my old Fush Yu Mang cd
