    Even when i do it and get all the hits it wont register the air Burning kick ! who thought of this shit anyway ?

    (And yea I read that it has to be Very low)

  • OMFFG!!! this 1 pisses me off more than the last because its not even HARD!!! first they dont let me get the seismo out then i cant get the kick out fast enough...wow i sound a like an old man who cant get it up lls z] but seriously T_T fuck CAPCOM for makin this shit soo damn hard

  • I don't know if somebody already told you that you don't have to do the burning kick "ultra low", you have to do it still on the ground and not jumping. You have to Super Jump cancel the EX Hammer and do the Burning Kick during the initial frames of the Super Jump, before Viper leaves the ground. So it actually is a ground Burning Kick, just like the Ultra after the Super Jump Cancel in Trial #3. The #5 it's the same thing.

  • When I say that is "the same" I mean that in #3, 4, 5 you have to cancel with the Super Jump and do the movement BEFORE Viper actually leaves the ground, so you have a small time-frame to pull the move. In #3 you have to do the Ultra (wich was very difficult for me) and in #4 and #5 you have to do the Burning Kick (wich is so much easier)

  • Nevermind I just aced it hours ago along with every other Challenge with the combined effort of the TE stick, 360 d-pad AND 360's left thumbstick (for C.Viper's 5th Challenge). I thank you for the helpful vids. You have my gratitude.

    Now all that's left is to collect all icons and titles. For some reason I thought that completing challenges and Arcade would unlock all of them, guess I thought wrong.

  • I succeeded a whole bunch of times but the game for whatever reason won't register it. I nailed the fierce kick immediately after the high jump then thunder knuckle, even though it all connected the game doesn't react. Someone please help!

  • Instead of doing downup then burning kick, you input the burning kick like this : Down, downback, back, upforward+kick. That way you will do ground version of burning kick, and complete the trial.

  • ok, I need help w/ canceling the hammer/shoryuken motion w/o doing the super.

  • XxbestofthebestxX ur right its is easy, its jus that bloody burning kick, your really hav it get it low, took me a whole day to realise that, because i keept connecting it high and it wouldnt let me succeed...but ive done it now thanks for the vid and info twichy, really helps!!

  • The combo's aren't too bad, I've gone back and revised the first 4 before doing the 5th. Pulled them all off second time round pretty quickly but the fact still remains they are going to be a bitch to do online. They're very hit and miss unlike some peoples Trial's.

    Anyway for those who can't do this you should already be able to do the EX-hammer jump Burning Kick as it's on basic trial.

    Just give the second half of the combo a practice once or twice then after it's just adding stun and punch.

  • All of these combo's start with her EX-stun pretty much, except #1. Dunno if anyones noticed but she has the worst stun in the game. It's so slow to release that you pretty much get punished for trying 99% of the time. Given you can skip it and just do crouch heavy EX Hammer, but still. Actually telling people to do such a shitty stun is silly. Any C.Viper player knows not to use it, especially not abuse it.

  • You're not doing the High Jump--> Burning kick fast enough. I know it's asinine, but for the combo to connect, the burning kick has to look like a standing heavy burning kick. The up-side is that this is pretty easy once you know how to do it. All you have to do is press down/up right at the beginning of the EX hammer, and then do the burning kick as the animation ends. There's a lot of time compared to the rest of her combos.

    Anyway, hope that helps, and good luck on #5 too.

  • nah i actually knew u had to do the ground version, cuz it doesnt say (in air) after the move; u gotta cancel just like in hard 3, my gripe is, im DOING it, like theres no smoke coming out her feet and theres the delay and everything, but it doesnt register

  • Did you use the stick or pad on this one?

    This seems awfully hard to do with the pad, because the best motion to do is d, db,b,uf + K really fast to do the High Jump cancel and BK in a same movement.

  • I use a Pad, and incidentally this is the only trial I can do at will with C.Viper. The trick is to do the high jump right at the beginning of the seismic hammer, since it doesn't matter When you do it for the cancel to work. If you do the High jump right at the beginning there's perfectly enough time to do the burning kick at the end and it should come out correctly with relative ease.

  • The thing I noticed about this combo in particular is it is pretty much do-able 100% of the time, only sometimes the Burning Kick and Thunder Knuckle don't register on trial even when they land so technically regardless of timing of the High Jump the combo is VERY do-able online, just like Trial #1 Combo.

  • Ah, it's true, and making the HJ Not connect for the trial tends to actually make it easier to connect in a fight as well. It doesn't save my C.Viper game though. She's easily one of (if not #1) my worst characters and I play as everybody. lol.

  • Same here man. I pick random all the way. She just seems to have a low chance of hitting. It's very frustrating. Her specials are easily punishable and most of the time you can be simply poked out of them. It's a shame, she has cool moves but she's certainly not tournament material.

  • To clarify part of the description, the game doesn't punish you for going "too high" on your BK per se--the Heavy BK it wants is the ground version, so if you go into the air at all you fail. You have to cancel the starting frames of the super jump into the ground BK before she goes airborne to get this... quite the jerk move by Capcom since this combo works just as well and does the same damage with the air version!
