  • They're back together!

  • Their back!! :DDDD

  • I buy their CDs on Amazon. Motivating!

  • My favorite FIF song another awesome one is "the wizard needs food badly"

  • I F'IN LOVE THESE GUYS AND MY BUDDIES AND I ARE FORMING A SKA BAND!!!

  • I find myself coming to this song over and over. It's just so... so... BOSS! Well, in honor of Five Iron Frenzy, please enjoy this song as I do. It's called Kamikaze, and I'm sure they hope you hate it! ;)

  • went to their last tour as a kid....i wish i could have seen them when i was old enough to truly respect them

  • @1inall ska never died though.

  • @gsboss

    Ska is in a coma.

  • Miss this band alot. Saw them back in '98 . First song i ever heard by them was "Dandelions"

  • More than a 1 hit wonder....

  • @1inall what is SKA?

  • Most. Underrated band. Ever.

  • ok.... so im looking for a compilation album that these guys were in.... its " soulfest 2003" ..... cant find it anywhere.... would love some help.... thanks..

  • in Mexico ska is fucking alive!!!

  • @Doomolish very true

  • what's the five iron frenzy song that's like a couple notes, then an explosion of sound, like "du.... duh.... JKLJFJDKFCRAZINESS!!!!!!!!!!"

  • @dr05guitar I believe you're talking about When I Go Out.

  • @DerekBarns hey thanks, that was it!

  • my pastor told us the messages that these songs bring, and the fact that they were his fave band, and he went to the final concert that they ever made in 2003. He said that they also broke up in 2003. I became a fan in 2010. pretty late huh?

  • @deathmark543 It's never too late to listen to great music!

  • It was 2003.

  • me too Shihon42

  • anyone thinking ska is dead is very much mistaken, Tomas Kalnoky is still alive, it can't be dead.

  • I don't think I've ever heard this band before. Are they new?

  • @DrewtheJew61 no. not at all.

  • @DrewtheJew61 They're old actually. You should buy one of their cd's sometime. Or borrow one from a brother. I'm sure you'd like them

  • @chefboy94 by brother are you meaning a black guy? cause thats not were i would go for a FIF cd

  • @chefboy94 Five Iron Frenzy is probably one of the last great ska bands; I can only hope that ska gets resurrected someday :D.

  • @DrewtheJew61 no they disbanded in 2003

  • @DrewtheJew61 If you haven't already found out more about FIF, check out my channel on which I have uploaded everything they have EVER created, except for 2 albums which I will be posting shortly (and 2 of their 5 vinyls which I will probably never be able to post)

  • you should put the omnivores for mediocrity (its not on youtube)

  • i love this song :D

  • SWEET!

  • good group but not as good as the O.C supertones

Personal opinion but what do you guys think?

  • @wavovideoeditor Five Iron Frenzy was far better in my opinion. I like the OC Supertones, but I liked FIF style better.

  • @mouschio

Well yeah I grew up listening to the Supertones. I guess they mixed a lot of reggae and somtimes even some funk but Five Iron Frenzy was probably more stable in their style. It's all a matter of what you like. lol

  • @mouschio

Im just mad these ska bands never won anything I mean they didn't do their stuff to win awards but they should have been recognized for bringing a new style of music to the cristian music World

  • @wavovideoeditor that's controversial lol

  • why did they break up? stupid question i know...

  • @kimberey151 I'm not sure...I think they wanted to go out on a high note.

  • They were really getting warned down by the road and a lot of them were really ready to just start living the family life. They had been touring and recording non stop so it was really getting hard on them to really love and live the message they were portraying

  • @kimberey151 Get the Five Iron Frenzy DVD that just came out in the past couple of weeks. It might explain why. I have watched the first 30 minutes or so and it gets into detail about the band forming and all.

  • They broke up in 2006 huh? I chose he wrong time to become a fan...

  • They are releasing a dvd soon though :D

  • There's never a wrong time to become a Five Iron fan. I feel a reunion coming. They have a DVD coming out on march 2nd. Maybe they'll make a comeback...

  • Let's hope so

  • so did I.

  • I know what you mean, I just heard of them and their awesome!.......but then I find out they broke up, so no going to a five iron frenzy concert for me

  • @Shihon42 Me too, literally a month after I started listening to them they came out with "The End Is Near" cd :( I bought it and though...NOOOOOooo they're gone! :(

  • @Shihon42 Dude, theses guys broke up in 2001. xD

  • @Shihon42

    i feel ya...

  • @Shihon42 they broke up in 2003.

  • @Steelfury256 Okay, I've heard three different dates now. Oh well, it still sucks.

  • @Shihon42 Actually, I think they broke up in 2003. But, I'm not quite sure.

  • Such a great song... and a great band.

  • <3 trombones.

  • in loving memory of five iron frenzy

  • Par for the coarse of life perhaps?

  • i got it....

    Driver Me Crazy

  • @deckdawg59 3 Wood Insanity

  • I can't find a single modern day christian ska band! It is the only music I can stand.

  • thats because ska was 90's

  • wellp, until you start your own christian ska band, you'll be out of luck. FIF did something special with the genre...

  • The Insyderz. I don't know how modern they are, but they are the only other one I know about.

  • The Insyderz were originally active from 96 til 2005 or so, but have recently gotten back together to record new music. The OC Supertones were also big during the ska era.

  • @jjuggernaut ,OC Supertones, the high fi revival is their best.

  • its about time to start a tribute band.....

    Ten Copper Crazy anyone?

  • I'll join haha :D

  • I think it needs to reference golfing in some way.

  • How 'bout Putter Fight

  • Oh man, I used to put this song on loop all the time.

  • Amen!

  • Nicky Cruz is coming to Victory outreach rotterdam 10-06-09 19:00 13-06-09 13:00 14-06-09 13:00=18:00

  • I remember this song as a b-side to the far far away single!

That seems like a long time ago.

  • y is every one so confused about the cheese

    its just the album cover

  • what is with the cheez? awsom song

  • The cheese has to do with the CD this is from. The Cheeses of Nazerath. I was listening to it today lol...

  • lmfoa wtf is up w/ the cheeze? awsum song though i love this song ♥

  • this song is awsome

  • did these guys die or what i just started to listen to them

  • LOL Trumpet.

  • yea they broke up back in 06

  • =,[

    that makes me sad...

  • 2003

  • is when they finished, not '06

  • o my bad i went to there farwell tour in atlanta i couldnt rember when

  • yeah it's sad...i can't believe it was that long ago that they ended :(

  • They "Quit." They were adamant that they weren't breaking up...but quitting. Their farewell tour was called the Winners Never Quit Tour.

  • Ah, I loved their wit.

  • this is a good song . haha =)

  • i love them still lol

  • i found about them when i was younger with my friends and then they broke up after a year or two of me knowing them

  • these guys were defenitly a great band, wish i had found out about them when they were still together

  • I feel the same way. We really missed out...

  • dude same here ska is amazing they are amazing

  • seeing a reunion would be awesome.chances are they wont make a reunion album.but we can always dream.=)

  • Cool song.

  • no their biggest mistake ever was QUITTING!!! and that should be a reunion album "our biggest mistake ever was quitting" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! that'd be cool!

  • very christian of you...

  • i was being funny and pointing out that they shouldn't have stopped playing and touring. why do i have a -4 by my comment?? it wasn't a bad comment i meant it as being funny and more or less in a positive way!

  • he wasnt being mean... he was saying that he thought they should never have broken up and he wished they would make a reunion album... he was just saying that he thought they shouldnt have stopped playing together because he obviously likes their music

    it wasn't unchristianly

  • the quality ain't perfect but still a great song!

  • sorry about the quality

    i mean

its windows movie maker; its not gonna be great

but at least its on here now

and thanks for the comment; i listened to this so much some days, that i had to put it on

  • this is easily one of their best songs ever. i think they said it almost went on electric boogaloo, but they put plan b on it instead. "One of their biggest mistakes ever"
