I find myself coming to this song over and over. It's just so... so... BOSS! Well, in honor of Five Iron Frenzy, please enjoy this song as I do. It's called Kamikaze, and I'm sure they hope you hate it! ;)
ok.... so im looking for a compilation album that these guys were in.... its " soulfest 2003" ..... cant find it anywhere.... would love some help.... thanks..
my pastor told us the messages that these songs bring, and the fact that they were his fave band, and he went to the final concert that they ever made in 2003. He said that they also broke up in 2003. I became a fan in 2010. pretty late huh?
@DrewtheJew61 If you haven't already found out more about FIF, check out my channel on which I have uploaded everything they have EVER created, except for 2 albums which I will be posting shortly (and 2 of their 5 vinyls which I will probably never be able to post)
Well yeah I grew up listening to the Supertones. I guess they mixed a lot of reggae and somtimes even some funk but Five Iron Frenzy was probably more stable in their style. It's all a matter of what you like. lol
Im just mad these ska bands never won anything I mean they didn't do their stuff to win awards but they should have been recognized for bringing a new style of music to the cristian music World
Im just mad these ska bands never won anything I mean they didn't do their stuff to win awards but they should have been recognized for bringing a new style of music to the cristian music World
They were really getting warned down by the road and a lot of them were really ready to just start living the family life. They had been touring and recording non stop so it was really getting hard on them to really love and live the message they were portraying
@kimberey151 Get the Five Iron Frenzy DVD that just came out in the past couple of weeks. It might explain why. I have watched the first 30 minutes or so and it gets into detail about the band forming and all.
There's never a wrong time to become a Five Iron fan. I feel a reunion coming. They have a DVD coming out on march 2nd. Maybe they'll make a comeback...
I know what you mean, I just heard of them and their awesome!.......but then I find out they broke up, so no going to a five iron frenzy concert for me
@Shihon42 Me too, literally a month after I started listening to them they came out with "The End Is Near" cd :( I bought it and though...NOOOOOooo they're gone! :(
The Insyderz were originally active from 96 til 2005 or so, but have recently gotten back together to record new music. The OC Supertones were also big during the ska era.
no their biggest mistake ever was QUITTING!!! and that should be a reunion album "our biggest mistake ever was quitting" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! that'd be cool!
i was being funny and pointing out that they shouldn't have stopped playing and touring. why do i have a -4 by my comment?? it wasn't a bad comment i meant it as being funny and more or less in a positive way!
he wasnt being mean... he was saying that he thought they should never have broken up and he wished they would make a reunion album... he was just saying that he thought they shouldnt have stopped playing together because he obviously likes their music
this is easily one of their best songs ever. i think they said it almost went on electric boogaloo, but they put plan b on it instead. "One of their biggest mistakes ever"
They're back together!
