i love how the part of xbox's history with products is posted everywhere, but noone gets my story. ive had two xbox's an old model, and a new model. both work, and they both run like champs. the old model had a problem with the dvd tray, just because my dog threw her ball in the air and it hit the tray just right while it was open. what saddens me is how some take pride in how many times they've had to send theirs in.
I don't understand why people make a big deal sure your xbox may have hardware failure but Microsoft offers a 3 year warranty so if anything fails you sip it to them and they will ship it back to you and bang you have an xbox that has been repaired the only let down is that if you're a gamer you have to go a week without gaming on the system

I got model 2011. You i got the up to date one. I could play for 1-5 hours. That is the best position to put it in because the 3 vents could breathe. That or you just got ripped off. Oh yeah btw some 360 games don't work. You'll have to find them off the marketplace.

I put a fan on my xbox so it stays cool and it hasn't over heated yet and I've clocked a total of 6 days total if u add up all the time I've played and I got no problem try the fan it works

@Umbra360 Its pretty simple. i bought a new piece of electronics for 300 bucks. It lasted 4 months. I then sent it in and had it replaced by a refurbished system. So now I have a refurb for the price of a new console and it still hasn't been a year since I bought the original one. Its a no brainer why I'm complaining. Your question is odd.
Next out on AC and tv cabel to xbox slim but dont put cabel to tv. Righ now try turn on your xbox. Should light 4 green LEDs. If you have it that mean xbox is working now. put your cabel to tv and xbox should working. i think if you restart consol you have the same error because you have problem with you connection with tv. Good luck for my this method is working.

Just i thing this problem have tv conection with xbox360 slim. how you can to check this. Put off everything in you console your cable in tv and switch off to AC for 1 hour and your hard driver if you have it.

I had a ps2 for 5 years the only time it broke is when i drop it off my t.v. I then took my cousin broken ps2 and jerry rigged a ps2. it didn't have a cover and we had to use a house fan to keep it cool but it worked. But i have been through 2 xboxs in 2 years, my neighbor spent $90 to get his ps3 fixed. Fuck it i'm going to Wii the graphics may suck but i know people that have wii from day one and nothing has happen to them.
On my Slim the light turns red I have to turn it on and off about 20x times then it turns green screen freezes makes a noise the screen then on and off again and then works weird huh?

XCGPU is the CPU/GPU processor.
The same problem as RROD/E74 on Fats.

I had a ps2 for 5 years the only time it broke is when i drop it off my t.v. I then took my cousin broken ps2 and jerry rigged a ps2. it didn't have a cover and we had to use a house fan to keep it cool but it worked. But i have been through 2 xboxs in 2 years, my neighbor spent $90 to get his ps3 fixed. Fuck it i'm going to Wii the graphics may suck but i know people that have wii from day one and nothing has happen to them.

On my Slim the light turns red I have to turn it on and off about 20x times then it turns green screen freezes makes a noise the screen then on and off again and then works weird huh?

Just bought a Xbox 360 slim online brand spanking new just got here today open the box hook it up and E82 error code! Dude a brand new system factory sealed straight out of the box and its useless... pretty good day so far... At least my PS2 that i bought in 2002 still works maybe I'll play some Metal Gear Solid 2.

Also i like your point about the ps3 online lagging. Hmmm your prolly talking about COD games right? well there all P2P so yea its gonna lag no matter what it even lags on 360. try any other ps3 game no lag at all. i have 10 friends who have 360s theyve gone through 15 each.

Hey man, good video, just wanted to tell you something simple to avoid getting the Ring of Death, (incase you know) When you place it up your wall, then Id suggest you turn it around to the side, with atleast 2-5 centimeters of space inbetween from the side, of the wall, because the rotater-driver inside the Xbox heats up when the air doesnt get the recycle out, and that can turn out with the Mini-fan getting dusty, and can in most cases lead up to the Ring of Death, (Red Dot)

It's not the hard drive! I've tried pushing it back in several times and unplugged and re-plugged the console+ making sure it is properly venting and not covered, yet it still has the red dot! My previous 360 elite got the red ring 3 times! I'm fed up with Microsoft...... PLEASE NOTE THAT I HAVE HAD A PS3 FOR MORE THAN 3 YEARS AND NOT A SINGLE PROBLEM...... compared to my 360 slim not lasting 3 months! ....... IF ANYONE HAS AN ANSWER PEASE LEAVE A COMMENT :(

that identifies that your hard drive is not pluged in all the way as you know when the worker does not care for the system he or she tosses it around u need to take your hard drive out sake it 4 to 5 times and plug it in
