Use a screen recorder. When in game use the Source recorder. It doesn't lower your FPS much.

btw it's onboard so it's like bolted to the motherboard, if you want x3100 you would have to buy the motherboard...

my inspiron 1525 only has a cheap specs :

intel celeron ,1.5 gb RAM, intel gm 965 integrated graphics card .but it can run games like NFS most wanted,nba live 08,warcraft 3,prince of persia the two thrones,killing floor and battle field 2

I recommend you the ATI X1200 integrated card to play this game on a cheap computer. It supports the source games of the orange box well, and team fortress 2 is playable at low settings.

yes you can the X3100 can handle BF2 well, look on youtube. although it does depend on what CPU & RAM you have (more RAM = more powerful graphics)

go to steam tab my games, right click on tf2, go to properties, then launch options. type in -dxlevel 80

Would you mind saying what exactly you did? Did you do the -dxlevel 80 (I think that's what it is) trick that I did? I still get a little lag with it, but it definatly helped a load.

It would help if you actually showed your fps, instead of just recording a video of you playing which is pointless for benchmarking.

One thing though is I'm glad you didn't use a recording program that would lag/decrease fps.

Yeah an 8600M can run crysis on High, not Very High though. This is pretty good, though. Anyways i take it that since this is the Same GFX card in a macbook that this would work on a mac.

You mean windowed mode? Some people prefer using windowed modes, eg. if you're working at the same time.

well at least the x3100 is "capable" of playing TF2, even though it is only at the lowest possible specs.

The X3100 has all the hardware necessary for modern games like unified shaders and DX9 support it's just there is not enough of the hardware to play it at any more than the lowest settings settings.

Okay. My 5 year old computer with a GeForceFX 5200 could probably outperform a computer with an X3100, we get your point. This video and some others are showing that the X3100 CAN be used for gaming and doesn't deserve all the badmouthing it gets.

on coffe, whatever, well i ran it some time on a Geforce 7200GS and it didnt run so well, perhaps it depends on the how fast is the CPU, however the sims 2 is a friendly game that can be run even with a geforce 2

have you tried the 15.9 BETA Driver if has a bit of DirectX 10 support and produces higher fps
