Molten aluminum does not glow. Aluminum melts at about 650 C and no glowing occurs at such low temperature (in daylight).
Glowchart shows that the metal on the video is over 1100 C hot. In addition the video is shot at daylight which makes glow colors seem much colder. It is plausible that the metal is indeed molten steel.
@apbriggs07 Thermite takes time to cut through steel beams and does not allways cut through each beam at the same speed. This would throw off the timing of each cut. The timing has to be extreamly precise for the building to implode properly. In a building of this size... It simply cannot be done properly. Even if it could it would still require thousands of pounds of thermite charges and thousands of feet of det chord. These materials would be clearly visable in the debris.

@bloggulator You are assuming that it is pure aluminum. The majority of the plane is not pure aluminum. It is a titanium alloy. It is titanium that has been mixed into aluminum. In addition to this other materials may have mixed into the aluminum from the building or even other parts of the plane. This means the molten aluminum may not have been it's normal color because it was not pure aluminum.

I thought the bulk of a commercial airliner was built from Magnesium alloys, some Titanum used in under carriage parts, turbine blades etc. How do you explain all of the evidence for thermite residues found in the debris and dust, and of course the complete destruction and pulverised dust from the concrete floor slabs!
@apbriggs07 The "evidence" for thermite was "found" after the clean up had allready started. What the truthers often leave out is that the clean up crew had allready started to use thermite charges to cut the beams down into smaller pieces to be moved. They knowingly leave this information out to mislead you. As far as they are concerned it has to have been an inside job and they will do everything including LIE to you to get you to believe it. They do not care about facts or the truth.

@MrAwsome514 Some of the samples were taken by witnesses at the time of the collapse of the towers, also dust samples from the collapse were taken from inside surrounding buildings at the time. The distance of these from the site and the quantity of thermite found could not be explained by thermite cutting charges if these were even used during the cleanup.
@apbriggs07 Do you know how much thermite would need to be used? Did you know that some of the survivors made it out from as high as the 80th floor and some even higher then that? Tell me how do you escape from a building that is being taken down with thermite through 80+ floors and not see any of the molten metal, smoke, or fire that would be associated with the thousands of pounds of thermite burning in the building? You don't. It would be impossible to miss. Assuming it was there to be seen.
@MrAwsome514 The survivors who escaped from the towers clearly escaped prior to any charges being ignited. There are even videos on here of thermite being used to cutt through steelwork? Search for THERMITE CUTTING STEEL - VALIDATED - EXPERIMENTALLY DEMONSTRATED. The particle size of the traces of thermite found at the site are also described as "nano" in size which suggests it it not conventional thermite as used to weld railway tracks etc together.

Why is there molten metal? There are no flames at this floor, only a few 1 floor up! It's very hard to understand if you think about it, even it was aluminum (which has a very different color), there is no explanation!

So many people have this CD theory, and yes, the towers did fall like a CD. @bucolic1 Jones and Harrits said the nanothermite would most likely be an ignition system for conventional explosives. This is ridiculous because thermite has never, and will never be used in a controlled demoltion. Thermite is rare and easily traceable. Jones and Harrits haven't even run confirmative tests that what they have is aluminum oxide and not just aluminum, therefore Thermite is only implied and not confirmed in the long run anyway.

@bucolic1 Point 1: Building 7 had just had 2 x110 storey towers collapse on its front doorstep, enough to bugger up any buildings foundations. That collapsed from the basement level, you could see it.
Point 2: the building in Asia had not had a fully laden 757 slam into it. Such things do tend to weaken a structure just a bit.
Point 3: All that blazing kerosine etc contained in the towers would generate enough heat to melt structural MS (1500 c) and make it flow.

Tell you what- when the 2nd plane hit on 911, I was watching with a bunch of others (technicians)- we all felt, before the event, that the South tower could not survive, given the massive damage, and the lower level of the hit, so we were sickened, but not very surprised when it went down. It didnt need thermite- the strike alone was fatal.

No explosives or thermite would have been needed at all. The twin towers were severely damaged by the planes and the steel was weakened, not melted, by the fires. Those two factors were more than enough to collapse the buildings. No other steel building has ever collapsed from fire, but none of those buildings had been severely damaged buy huge airplanes, and none of them had to support as as much weight above the damaged areas as the twin tower had to.

A few weeks after 911 a group of ex-airforce dudes who saw the footage of the planes hit the towers got together to analyse the flight paths and determine the actual skill level required to perform such banking manouvers to hit those towers. Also he'd have to disengage the flight computer by being a computer hacking wiz to boot.
Every building that was constructed after a certain airplane crash in the 1950s was designed to withstand a direct impact from the largest fully fueled commercial airliner of the period it was built. this includes withstanding the fire that would ensue. This is a fact look it up! The twin towers were the first and only structures of their kind EVER to collapse from a fire like this. But in some peoples world that doesnt mean a thing. no, based on the fact that steel melts at over 2500 degrees. the fire would have never gotten that hot to melt steel and keep it molten for 6 weeks after.. but, it was hot enough to melt aluminum. and there was a lot of aluminum in the WTC, including the plane..so, we can't know for sure if it was aluminum, but it sure as hell probably was. just makes sense that it would be. or another metal with a low melting point.

It is a dense metal, the only question to ask now is why would it melt. Surely, it was not office fires that melted the steel. Aluminum would not continue to molten 6 weeks after, there was something else that caused the metal to become molten, whether or not it was aluminum (which it wasn't) ;)

The WTC 1 and 2 collapses would be considered "Top Down" collapses, commonly demonstrated in demolitions and possible if absolutely perfect circumstances were to occur. Not only is it very unlikely that it would happen three times in one day, with the small portion of the building that began to fall, a top down collapse would be impossible.

@jswilliams37 Molten debris came from plane crash site, it is a discolured (it doesn't have to be silver) aluminum soup mixed with burnt office furniture, paper ect. If thermite had caused this, it wouldn't have only been observed at one part of the building only. The towers did not fall at free fall speed. The Towers provided structural resistance and fell at 2/3 free fall with the top (180,000,000 pounds) crashing down on the next floor below at 100+mph due to the gravitational force.

The reason the whole structure (WCT7) collapsed on 911 was because it was taller and skinnier, gravity works well under these conditions. The WTC buildings were unique.

Molten aluminum does not glow. Aluminum melts at about 650 C and no glowing occurs at such low temperature (in daylight).
Glowchart shows that the metal on the video is over 1100 C hot. In addition the video is shot at daylight which makes glow colors seem much colder. It is plausible that the metal is indeed molten steel.

@apbriggs07 Thermite takes time to cut through steel beams and does not allways cut through each beam at the same speed. This would throw off the timing of each cut. The timing has to be extreamly precise for the building to implode properly. In a building of this size... It simply cannot be done properly. Even if it could it would still require thousands of pounds of thermite charges and thousands of feet of det chord. These materials would be clearly visable in the debris.

@bloggulator You are assuming that it is pure aluminum. The majority of the plane is not pure aluminum. It is a titanium alloy. It is titanium that has been mixed into aluminum. In addition to this other materials may have mixed into the aluminum from the building or even other parts of the plane. This means the molten aluminum may not have been it's normal color because it was not pure aluminum.

What the truthers often leave out is that the clean up crew had allready started to use thermite charges to cut the beams down into smaller pieces to be moved. The distance of these from the site and the quantity of thermite found could not be explained by thermite cutting charges if these were even used during the cleanup.

The particle size of the traces of thermite found at the site are also described as "nano" in size which suggests it it not conventional thermite as used to weld railway tracks etc together.

So many people have this CD theory, and yes, the towers did fall like a CD. BUT- and no-one as far as I know has yet offered up a theory as to how this was accomplished- the drilling of 100s of charge holes, the import of, and planting of the charges, wiring together of same, the concealment of the work done and clearing up of the mess made, so as not to arouse suspicion in 2 highly monitored buildings, not to mention the sucessful setting off of the demolitions themselves. Any (sound) theories?

@bucolic1 Jones and Harrits said the nanothermite would most likely be an ignition system for conventional explosives. This is ridiculous because thermite has never, and will never be used in a controlled demoltion. Thermite is rare and easily traceable. Jones and Harrits haven't even run confirmative tests that what they have is aluminum oxide and not just aluminum, therefore Thermite is only implied and not confirmed in the long run anyway.

Group 1. People with the mental illness
Group 2. Impressionable people who blindly accepted all the A-B connections cleverly put together by group 1 (people in group 1 are usually clever, but it is tainted with a disease, comparable to a scam artists mentality)

@bucolic1 Think about it for a moment- there are so many variables in this scenario, that not even "they" could control. Add to that the huge degree of manual work involved in setting these towers to fall- you can't tell me that you can stitch up an entire major building project from structural engineers, right down to good old Hank McKlusky, steel erector, from the Bronx- every hands-on worker would need to be in the buy of "Them" to make it work. And not ONE of them ever got drunk and blabbed?

@bucolic1 Point 1: Building 7 had just had 2 x110 storey towers collapse on its front doorstep, enough to bugger up any buildings foundations. That collapsed from the basement level, you could see it.
Point 2: the building in Asia had not had a fully laden 757 slam into it. Such things do tend to weaken a structure just a bit.
Point 3: All that blazing kerosine etc contained in the towers would generate enough heat to melt structural MS (1500 c) and make it flow.

@marcjtdc Youre probably right, but under what condtions? And who said that had to be steel melting? Why not aluminium? Tell you what- when the 2nd plane hit on 911, I was watching with a bunch of others (technicians)- we all felt, before the event, that the South tower could not survive, given the massive damage, and the lower level of the hit, so we were sickened, but not very surprised when it went down. It didnt need thermite- the strike alone was fatal.

No explosives or thermite would have been needed at all. The twin towers were severely damaged by the planes and the steel was weakened, not melted, by the fires. Those two factors were more than enough to collapse the buildings. No other steel building has ever collapsed from fire, but none of those buildings had been severely damaged buy huge airplanes, and none of them had to support as as much weight above the damaged areas as the twin tower had to.

A few weeks after 911 a group of ex-airforce dudes who saw the footage of the planes hit the towers got together to analyse the flight paths and determine the actual skill level required to perform such banking manouvers to hit those towers. Thier opinion was clear, the pilot had to be an expert to make that turn or just ridiculously lucky. No dirt herder with a few hours Cessna traing could do it. Also he'd have to disengage the flight computer by being a computer hacking wiz to boot.

Every building that was constructed after a certain airplane crash in the 1950s was designed to withstand a direct impact from the largest fully fueled commercial airliner of the period it was built. this includes withstanding the fire that would ensue. This is a fact look it up! The twin towers were the first and only structures of their kind EVER to collapse from a fire like this. But in some peoples world that doesnt mean a thing. no, based on the fact that steel melts at over 2500 degrees. the fire would have never gotten that hot to melt steel and keep it molten for 6 weeks after.. but, it was hot enough to melt aluminum. and there was a lot of aluminum in the WTC, including the plane..so, we can't know for sure if it was aluminum, but it sure as hell probably was. just makes sense that it would be. or another metal with a low melting point.

@itzahazylife - Aluminum doesn't glow that colour. Iron does. Aluminum will not glow in daylight conditions, under any condition found during any research. Aluminum is ruled out. It is a dense metal, the only question to ask now is why would it melt. Surely, it was not office fires that melted the steel. Aluminum would not continue to molten 6 weeks after, there was something else that caused the metal to become molten, whether or not it was aluminum (which it wasn't) ;)

@raza121 - Physics might be something you want to educate yourself on. Most people who believe this to be "physics" assume that physics is simple. It's not. The WTC 1 and 2 collapses would be considered "Top Down" collapses, commonly demonstrated in demolitions and possible if absolutely perfect circumstances were to occur. Not only is it very unlikely that it would happen three times in one day, with the small portion of the building that began to fall, a top down collapse would be impossible.

@jswilliams37 Molten debris came from plane crash site, it is a discolured (it doesn't have to be silver) aluminum soup mixed with burnt office furniture, paper ect. If thermite had caused this, it wouldn't have only been observed at one part of the building only. The towers did not fall at free fall speed. The Towers provided structural resistance and fell at 2/3 free fall with the top (180,000,000 pounds) crashing down on the next floor below at 100+mph due to the gravitational force.

@jswilliams37 The coffe maker fire in 2008 (Skip to 1 min 38 secs /watch?v=dsjfSG69Pik) had a fire start on the 6th floor and it took a huge chunk of the structure down just what was seen on 911. The reason the whole structure (WCT7) collapsed on 911 was because it was taller and skinnier, gravity works well under these conditions. The WTC buildings were unique.
