are you familiar with the analog chorus by MXR? I'm just curious what would the difference be between the two (besides this one being 18V, having the bass cut switch and the blinking LED)

@WhiteMenJumping5 I can attest to the amazingness of the M-134 in stereo. Had it run out to a pair of Fender Twins at a practice space and just wanted to strum big chords all night.
@Drewski691 Welllll, not knowing what style of music you play, it's hard to make a recommendation, but my bass player uses a compressor, delay, and occasionally a flanger and overdrive. It's most important to add effects as you need them, not just for the heck of it. Some stuff to check out would be the MXR Supercomp (compression), Boss DD-7 or MXR Carbon Copy (delay), Boss BF-3 (flanger) and Ibanez TS-9 for overdrive. Just a starting point, there's a whole world of stuff out there. G'luck!
@Drewski691 Cool. This chorus pedal will work well for you, then, because of the added headroom. Also check out the MXR EVH-117 (or the regular non-EVH one), and for overdrive, maybe the Barber Dirty Bomb.
I've gone through about 10 chorus pedals, ranging in price from about $25 to $300, and I always keep coming back to this one - there's something really haunting about the way this one sounds, it's absolutely beautiful. MXR just came out with a smaller "Analog Chorus" pedal - I've only heard a short clip but to my ears it sounds nothing like this one. The M117 flanger and the big yellow brick are pure joy!
@wrf1973 Thanks for the comment! My sentiments exactly. Simply put, when I think of a good chorus effect in my head, this pedal does just that. I love the additional headroom that an 18v pedal provides, too.

@MTLguitarist98 Hmmm, no I haven't had a chance to play with that one. Looks very cool, though.
