I did , i played this game from long time and i know what am say''nG
u can heal ur self but not direct and it's like absorveng HP from attack\nG monsters or from ur attack .. thats what i remmeber .. but there is no first aid , nurse etc. (=
@yanmaoption but remmeber even if she has it's inderict heal and u cant do it everytime pls even if it's happen it's not that useful i mean it heals but little
You do realize that when an offensive caster hits with a spell, all nearby allies recover HP? Standing near Mao when he's spamming Gusty Nail recovers an absolutely insane amount of HP - just have his strategy set to keep his RG near the middle and you've got a guy capable of consistent HP recovery that'd make Raine jealous due to his casting speeds.
You're missing the point. There is actually magic for healing, it just functions differently than standard games in that offensive magic is also used for healing. Hell, even 'standard' healing magic exists in the form of Heal Regen, Tytree's recovery Refining Skill, etc.
What you're claiming is that the game is harder due to 'no' healing but that's a complete lie; it's even EASIER to regain health than in Symphonia, not to mention there's more ways of doing so.
Yea Tales of Rebirth is quite hard but so is Tales of Destiny 2. Hell just Unknown mode really made a name for itself in that game. Just try Magnadeus on Unknown D:
You've either never played ToR, or you didn't know what you were doing. Tales of Rebirth has more ways to heal yourself than pretty much any other Tales game as ALL characters are capable of HP recovery. The fact that the system doesn't rely on having a healer spam a few specific moves doesn't mean there's not plenty of easy, reliable ways to recover HP, and that's not counting items.
It's very distressing to see claims that there's no healing in ToR when that's a lie.
What do you mean no healing spells? Every single attack has the potential to heal if you use it with a full FG, and attack spells like Mao's Gusty Nail will actually heal the entire party if he uses them with low RG.
Besides, Annie can boost how much skills recover health with Life Materia, can revive all dead members in a large area over and over with Rise Elixir which only requires a full FG, and she's got the ougi Heal Regen that recovers 250 HP for everyone.
Basically, saying there's 'no healing spells' means you either haven't played the game, or you weren't paying attention, because there's tons of ways to recover HP. The AI is pretty good about keeping its health up too as long as you don't do anything like tell everyone to keep their RGs up or set your spellcasters to use only moves with poor HP recovery. >_>
Don't forget that R-Elixir can only be used once per battle for her allies. Which means she can only use it 3 times. I just go for Life Materia, and Drach Leben whenever I put her in my active party.
This is incorrect, caused by a translation mistake in Ianyn's Annie Skill Exhibition video. All refining skills are infinitely usable, with the only major difference compared to regular skills being that you need the FG for it to be full. You can use Rise Elixir as many times as you like, but the FG it is assigned to always has to be full to activate it (normal skills can activate without a full FG at the cost of not getting the bonuses associated with their Force Cube assignment).
No problem. For reference, the rules for all the refining skills are the same (requires full FG, don't think an Ougi can be assigned to it, doesn't appear to get Cube assignment bonuses like Float, Misty, etc). The refining skills are the 2 'special' moves each character learns (except for Annie's two and Mao's Force Flame, they're all self buffs), but there's no limit on how many times you can use any of them.
The healing system doesn't rely on one character to spam spells (coughRainecough) constantly. Everyone can recover their own health by using skills with a full FG (you get more the lower your Rush Gauge is), and offensive spells will recover the health of not only the caster but everyone standing near the caster. You can easily fill up on HP by using high recovery moves like Mao's Gusty nail, or by boosting HP gain rate with Life Materia.
Rocks! It is the most lovely out of all the battle dongs in ToR (no, really I loved this song! especially the 0.35-1.09 and 1.17 1.41 parts those are the best!! X3)
I thought so, the music in that game doesn't really follow Sakuraba's style. To Orchestrated, not that that's a problem, but Sakuraba tends to keep it more modern.
@gyppygirl2021 Don't diss other ones, that's your opinion D:

It's funny that people complain about Motoi's style when his most popular themes are his battles.
Pay attention to his more eclectic compositions.
He really does have a lot of idea's, more than these syncopated progressive rock tracks.
It's just a battle theme.
Listen to Infinite Undiscovery, or Baten Kaitos, (there's at least 5+ more high quality soundtracks.) and you'll feel a whole lot better. :D
Besides, isn't it great music anyway?
