beautiful image... yes. 100% real...no... this image have been enchanced to make it more appealing to the public but you just need to look to the moon to know things are not like that up there. nasa found significant amounts of water on the moon but not such thing as an ocean with costal line and everything.

@anno636 Listen how would you know the moon is just dead and just dust?? Been on holiday up there have we? Look man calm down a bit, check out all the information buddy. Im sure there was somit odd about the moon to begin with hence they have near gone back. Buzz Aldrin even said that theres stuff up there that dont add up and has spoken openly about ufo's. Neil Armstrong is a recluse and has turned to god to whatever went on up there. All in all a beautiful photo has been taken. Peace to all

@philtered76 this picture passed examination to be among 700 pictures in the astronomy photographer of the year, and I have seen that blue with my own eyes, without a telescope when the moon is a daytime moon, I'll post the link for this photographer of the yearcontest, coz maybe you want to tell them its fake, this also had a full page in the SUN newspaper in the UK, the biggest newspaper in the UK. have you ever been to the moon? no is the answer.

There is clearly no atmosphere, not visually from earth, nor in this photo. If there was an ocean on the moon solar energy would evaporate it completely without the presence of an atmosphere. It's that simple.
