  • my toy is just around 9 weeks and i have a harness for him which I think is easier but he tends to just sit down or even lay there because he doesn't want to walk. not like yours who in the beginning was just really curious, mine just seems scared and unwilling. I'm afraid keeping him cooped up in my tiny apartment is a problem. any advice? I try to walk him at least once a day. Do I need to up the amount?

  • @tessmedlin Have your puppy get used to wearing harness at home first. Let him eat, play and have fun while wearing harness. Have him settle down first and put on harness, give him a treat after,he will like the harness in no time.

Once your puppy is comfortable with the harness & leash, you can start taking him to outdoor. Use treats to encourage him moving forward then slowly phasing out the treats. Do not pull the leash, be patient. If he is sitting down, pat on his butt to get him moving.
