the tightly curly method ruined my hair. i was all natural and tried this method out and it destroyed my hair strand by strand. conditioner is not meant to be left on hair. it does not simply moisturize, but it softens your hair by chemically breaking it down. this method turned my soft lucious hair into wirey, sponge-like hair. this method is a bad idea! i used he conditioner terri suggested. she is not a chemist. she has no clue what the chemicals do once they interact with one another!!!
your hair looks great! I just used the conditioner only method today for the 2nd time using the Giovanni Smooth as Silk conditioner and relly like it.
i agree that cut is beautiful on you and your curls are perfect! I did the CO Method once and i loved it!! I am just so use to my twistouts that i haven't done it again , but it is a perfect alternative to hard gels! Your hair is so pretty :)
Well it depends, when i do it on dry hair, i use a product called "Head to Toe Balm with Jojoba" by Essential Balms or Oyin Handmade's Whipped Cream. I am out of both right now (you have to get online). I use to use shea butter but i hated the white cast it put on my hair! I found one at Whole Foods that is more like a grease, but it was so so. I experimented and did twists on wet hair and loved the results! I used water and vegetable glycerin. But i retwist everynight with Jane Carter Twist/Loc
