  • Guys, seriously, I was in this tornado. Im not kidding either. It sucked and i was TERRIFIED. So, I know you are kidding and junk, but it sucks to be hit by a tornado :/

  • @TheGamingBuddy MEEEEEE 2, i live next door to nordys =]

  • lol "I left my golf ball out there"

  • That was an EF4!?

...what would a 5 be like then...?

    Jeezuz that's scary...

  • @LinkFreak44

Officially this was actually an EF3, but a higher rating doesn't necessarily mean that a tornado is bigger, just that it produce more severe damage.

  • Awesome footage. Up here in Maine we hardly ever get tornados. I believe western Maine got one in 2005 and it was pretty big (for Mainers anways). I've always wanted to go out west and watch one :) Snowstorms are cool, but a twister? Amazing.

  • 7 people want to get sucked up by a tornado

  • dude i went through this tornado it sucked:(

  • Okay, first of all, we almost never got twisters here and when we did, they were NEVER this massive! A Colorado first!

  • @corwin11412 you obviously dont know weld county, weld county has the highest amount of tornados in the country, it's its own tornado ally, they mostly do not touch down, but in may there is an average of a tornado warning a day

  • I think the dude in the golf cart wanted to play some golf... I guess old golf balls were out of style

  • 37 people got kod during this storm

  • Deadly? I read in the newspaper a week afterwards only one person died?

  • @Andiismyname So you are saying that more than one person has to die for it to be deadly? If it was someone in your family would it be deadly then?

  • that things massive

  • It was actually an EF3

  • Lol. Theres a Golf Cart There when theres an F-3 F-4 or maybe even an F-5 like two or three miles away... Real Smart lol.

  • This is why I love living in Virginia. Quiet, civil (if you will), and not that dangerous discluding the crime (but even that is at a minimum where I am)

  • is this windsor ontario, or windsor england?

  • @MartinSkillz2 windsor colorado

  • Comment removed

  • This was literally, only a few miles from my house...But I was in Boulder at the time. =P

I love the ppl in the background lol

  • yeah nice video man alot better footage than most and quality as well.

  • hooooly crap dude. the hail and ... the tornado is just massive... i'd be scared as hell! but like right now i can't stop watching....

  • what were those two guys in the golf cart THINKING? Even if you know you're not in the tornado's path, I'd still not want to be dealing with that huge hail in a freakin' golf cart.

  • @ianat841 I was thinking the same thing. Idiots. They could've been killed.

  • @ianat841 hey who knows they probably wanted to go golfing with hail

  • @ianat841 - I'll tell you what they were thinking, "Dude, we have got the entire golf course to ourselves...wohoo!!!!"

  • I was in this tornado and my daycare lady's home got smashed and so did my best friends house

  • craap it's like snowballs fallin from the sky

  • DAANG that is BEYOND MONSTER!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!! I'd be saying it THEN DOING IT!!!! It's amazing how HUGE these things get AND within SECONDS can wipe out an ENTIRE town/city!!!

  • Haha that one dude in the back...."He's like...'I left my golf ball out there...'" *camera points to the two idiots taking off in the golf cart in the hail* hahahahahaha

  • Were you at Pelican Lakes When filming this? I remember when this happened, it was the scariest thing that i have ever witnessed!!

  • I wonder if you would survive a tornado by diving underwater if it passed over you lol.. :o

I guess not, you'd probably be sucked around in some underwater cyclone and drown to death..

  • @The615LOVE they said once in a movie about tornadoes anyone or anything near a tornado that passes over wa river or on water with people under or on them it can suck them up so yeah they can

  • If your car was outside, would it need a new paint job?

  • Comment removed

  • thank god this tornado only had one vortex in the damage you can see where the vortex hit because all the houses except about two or 3 in a line are fine, those hit by the vortex were wiped out

  • @CrazyCornhuskerFan Very true its looks like 2 vortexs if there was

that would of killed the entire city most prob

  • I have never seen hail stone that big before bloody lethal feel sorry for that guy in the caddy

  • o.o i thought those were golf balls on the ground, notices its hail stones :P

-guys on golf cart may R.I.P....2minute silence please...

  • @TheLoserSakaTheOiler That's what she said :p But seriously this storm was pretty massive. I remember I was flying out this day to go to Arkansas. CNN was covering it and was saying "Denver" and my friends were like are you ok? I told them that where the tornado happened was miles and miles away from Denver.

  • i wonder what happened to the guy on the golf cart

  • @js35701 he lived only man to die was a guy trying to flee in his trailer and the trailer was thrown into the air

  • It was big. But hey, National Guard, FEMA, Red Cross, Salvation Army, mormon kids, all here within 10 minutes. Like they were just waiting for it.

Our house got damaged but not as bad as some. I took a lot of pics during and after. Then came all the looky loos and then came the thieves. Now we are unlocked and loaded. So please come on back!

  • @Airrage88 Oh, that's so sweet! Now bend over for yours.

  • Comment removed

  • @Airrage88 you know what they say about people calling other people gay...you have deep feelings of being gay and are scared of them. It's OK, you can come out now.

  • Comment removed

  • @Airrage88 sounds like you've breathed in a tad too much DDT "my friend". Now go away and play with your mommy's dresses.

  • Comment removed

  • @Airrage88 well, you are the one going to a gay charter school and since there's only one in Windsor, I'm sure your teacher's would be interested in seeing how well you're doing outside the classroom. Now excuse me while I print all of your comments out for them. I'm sure your parents will be proud of your foul mouth.

  • its cool how me and parm were canoeeing by here 3 months ago (: hahaha we found a mouse skull on the island and crashed a lual!

but dude this si a huge tornado

  • OMG I was in this storm! I was in school and it was the second to last day of school and it started to hail so we had to have recess in the auditorium. Then we went to lunch and after that the sirens came on and we had to take cover and leave our lunches for 45 minutes. It didn't do any damage to the school but we were shaken up. Now ever 5/22 we always freak out and talk about it. We had another tornado warning on the last day of school as well. Good ol' Colorado!

  • look at that fucking hail

  • if i saw that i would be shitin myself

  • whoa! this is my brothers neighborhood! this summmer me and my friend parmeda actually were canoeing rihgt where you can see the lake. AND AT :30 i always ride a bike there! coollllll

  • holeeeee shitttt

  • my house was wiped out by that

  • I'm sorry to hear that. I'm in Ft Collins and it came within about 2 miles from my house.

  • ya my son was in school in fort collins we didnt want to go to public schools in windsor so he goes to fossil ridge

  • lmao at the dude in the golfcart. I guess he really wanted a better view

  • I was in that tornado. I started crying....jk but I was way scared!!! G33bz

  • That size of a tornado, although not unheard of, is fairly uncommon in CO, right? Looks about like Wichita Falls 79' tornado. Definitely a five star for content and continuity of the approaching storm

  • @TommyJoebowers1tycoo verry rare ive lived in co for 25 years and have never seen one that big let alone one actully touchdown and stay down!!!!

  • You could say that if you lived in any state. Most people have not seen tornadoes.

  • that hail was brought to you by, solar thermal energy :D

  • Holy shit thats a golf course I just noticed that when the golf cart went by

  • is THAT HAIL AND TORNADO

  • no way.... dum ass

  • altho i dont live in windsor i rember hearing all about it on the news.... .that is what i reamber. I feel so sorry for the people who live there

  • Whose that idiot on the golf cart going towards the tornado? LOL

  • by the way fantastic video!!! the hail hitting the little lake was neat

  • texas is worse in many parts of colorado they don't get mesocylones like texas

  • Um excuse me? This event was pretty powerful for Colorado! We usually don't get tornadoes this big or dangerous. Don't go comparing it to Texas because they have worse tornadoes, for the people in Colorado don't give a damn. I live in Colorado and have been through this storm! Go back in time and experience the storm first hand and tell me if it wasn't as bad as some as of Texas's tornadoes... >:(

  • The closest thing to a tornado ive been in is a force 3 hitting my school in hamilton

  • SCARY...

    but awesome...

this is a big fucking tornado...

  • Wow that hail was just HUGE!!! At least it didn't cause any damge or anything lol...

  • lol were all gonna die

  • i live in water valley on the beach and i saw the tornado go right by

  • ive lived in kansas, though. been in an EF5 this was an ef3 apperently

  • I was in this twister,a microburst, and 2 other tornado warnings at my house and I was in a tornado under a overpass on my way back from Denver.

  • In the future don't take shelter under an overpass. Lie in a ditch.

  • i had to move to lubbock tx cuz thatSHIT destroyed my house

  • i lived in colorado for 16 years, till i was 16 lol, came back a year later from georgia to see my cousin graduate and was here for this shit

  • Where the hell is the guy on the golf cart going!!!! Wrong way!

  • I couldnt believe it when I saw that guy o the golf cart going towards that monster! I wonder what happened to the guy.

  • He was shooting his own edition of the footage to earn an entry on "Stormchasers". Unfortunately, we cannot see any of the footage because he was taken up to the heavens by the all powerful vortex.

Just kidding, I don't know. I just think that it's very funny to watch him chase it down! :D

  • Woah, I heard the tornado sirens go off in Denver the other week got me interested in tornados. This video is awesome. Crazy shit man.

  • Scary. I used to play paintball in Windsor.

  • That is crazy.

  • hail is scary one time in my other house it had hail and i got a window on the top it scarred me really bad

  • but still somehow looks so beautiful...

  • omfg

  • sooooo scary. i was in lockdown at my school when this happened

  • I was near the area when that happened and their was another funnle cloud about to touch down that looked just as big as that

  • I went looking for this because we just had a tornado in Aurora today, at Southlands Mall-- this one was considerably less serious; it damaged the mall and a few nearby houses and flipped a car onto its roof, but that was it.

I really paid attention when, at 1:25, the splashes as the hailstones hit the water really upticked in pace. Right after the golf cart, too. (Was that Pelican Lake?)

  • Yeah, I was in that. Scary as shit, and I'll never look at storm clouds the same way again.

  • lol at the guy in the golf cart.

  • I know that guy, his name is Bobby. He was checking on a group of people on the golf course.

  • poor fishies ;P

  • I would not worry about the fishes. the water acts like a cushion to soften the blow from the large hailstones and hail is frozen water so the fishes are happy to have some clean water from melted hail.

  • OMG whoever filmed this has balls of steel & marbles missing.....wish I would have been there too :)

  • I was in that, it scared the heck out of me!

  • Wow I bet it did. I don't revel in people's misfortunes, I just like extreme weather.

  • thats crazzy we don't get anything like that in australia...

  • What a bunch of idiots driving the cart towards the tornado!

  • Yeah, I live about 15 miles south of THIS tornado,

but we had a tornado touch down and spring back up just about 2 miles from my school.

We were in lockdown on our 2nd to last day for 3 hours,

2 of them were after school got out... Lol

  • the water looked soo cool w/all the hail hittin it!

  • AWESOME.

  • it would of been funny if between 3:28-3:52 something just came flying at him

  • Would HAVE been funny....not would OF.

  • are you seriously giving a grammar lesson on youtube? sounds like an old retired english teacher looking for a purpose

  • I am not a retired teacher, nor an unretired teacher. Where is correction appropriate, then? Just in English class? Someone who can be humbled by being corrected has good character. I wasn't even correcting you, and you mock me. It says a lot.

  • haha dont u hate it when people do that?

  • what was that guy doing in the golf cart out there? Crazy dude!

  • Man... That was fuck'd. Not a good day for playing golf dude, losing your golf balls in amongst all that hail 'n shit, gett'n fuck'n OWNED by HAILSTONES!!! }:-{

  • maybe that golfer dude thought all those hailstones were golfballs lol

  • scary.

  • taerg div nam! odarot yracs.

  • lol. hahahah

  • mmmh. etagre div. ecin. yracs oht.

  • wow!!!!

it wouldve been great if you were standing outtthere and getting hit..

    "that's comedy"

  • great hail vid... but it was rated an e.f.3... get your facts right before you post it... u sound like my cousin

  • There are a few posters on here that are just livid and rapid over it being called what it is - an EF3 tornado. It was officially rated that, and not EF4, but the mere mention of reality seems to drive a few people crazy because it was "near their house" or "was just so big."

  • what you asshole that was a tornado it hit my house look it up asshole my home was hit by it do you even know what a tornado is you jerk dont even thikn about pissing people off

  • it doesn't matter if you house was hit or it was another guys' house. That doesn't change the official rating.

  • you are such a dumbass

  • The Windsor tornado is officially rated as EF3, not EF4.

  • idiot it was a weak ef 4 but it was mostly strong ef 3 winds but the highest it got was in windsor and it became an ef-4 for 5 minutes before becoming a ef3 my house was hit by this tornado

  • Do you want a fucking medal?

  • Incredible/fantastic tornado/hailstorm footage! 5 stars

  • Is this tornado wider than the Oklahoma tornado in 1999?

  • Yes. The OKC 1999 tornado was only about 0.25 miles wide when it was causing damage in Moore.

  • tha tornado looks like its 4 miles wide!!!!

  • Heh it problably is

  • No. The widest damage path ever recorded was 2.5 miles. This tornado was not near that.

  • Trousdale tornado of May 4th 2007 was at least 2.6 miles wide broke Hallams record

  • Yeah but it was pretty big for those who were in it! Like me! In all my years of Colorado I have never experienced a monster that big! Sure it isn't the biggest, but it was scary!
