  • This song reminds me my old friend. M.S.Rana..

  • How beautiful did the actress of those days looked...and this is with minimal makeup and no botox . What has happened to women today and men too , it all looks FAKE..

  • I love 2 hear d song.It makes me recall my younger days.

  • Shakila and Waheeda Rehman were two cutest actresses of their time. Shakila's sister Noor was married to Johny Walker.

  • dear darrinthebold

    do you think this is sadhana ? you are so wrong.... . this is Zareen

  • @meerachatterjee

    She is niether Zareen nor Sadhana. She is shakila.

    Zareen who is Sanjay Khan's wife resemles Shakila but never acted in movies. Shakila acted in a number of movies during the late 50s and early60s. I understand she is Johny Walker's sister-in-law.

  • I simply forgot the very existence of this great melody.Once clung to the short wave transmission of Radio Ceylon long way back to hear the wavy transmission or Binaca Geet Mala or from AIR on MW for this particular song & now you bring it as a reminder to those who lost touch.Thanks.

  • This one my most favorite song.

    I am reminded of all the good things in my life, before I die and when my whole life is flashing by in my mind, this is the song my mind would hear.This is a song that makes me cry and smile at the same time.

  • inspiring song

  • Great Work of Ravi

  • @masood160258 The music director is N. Dutta

  • great musician ravi and latadidi made this unfurgotable song. shakila was cute.

  • o lata ji only you could sing this song

  • one of the best composition of RAVI sahab he is the specialist in making the khayal like chhodvi ka chand,humraj, gumrah, waqt,

  • Divine Lata Ji at her prime. Beautiful song, so majestically sung.

    God Bless Lata ji.

  • Yes, bollywood has become a worn out.

    Yes, she looks like Natalie wood. i do not know how she actually looks, but she was very very beautiful. If one wants to admire her beauty, one must see in her early films when she just flowered into her youth in films like aarpaar, Alibaba 40 thieves, CID, Agra road, after being a child artist in Dastan.

  • Charmingly beatiful!

    Could you please re-classify the category as anything else other than using the term "Bollywood"- it represents everything that is cheap trash and nasty senseless contemporary activity! Surely contamination of the old treasure has to be avoided

  • watch her in CID with Waheeda & Dev Anand

  • very sexy i am afraid;

  • isn't she like natalie wood? very much so;

    heard she's very pretty in person exm fair and agile;didnt reach the height of waheedamma or even nanda they're great frnds though even today;

    like her too;

  • asad did you ever think that if you were born in that era

    how old you would be ?

    may be dead

    may not be able to enjoy the The V D O . even if you were alive

    too much to miss .

  • this was the first song i memorized completely when i was 6.i used to sing this all day long and for the last 17 years it has been one of my favourates.i wish i was born in that era

  • Sweet song. I have been listening to it since years untiringly. Thanks for the upload.

  • A Real Gem............

  • what a old great song. this old song refreshes the old days of jawani. thank you so mucj janab for posting this zabardast old video, this is aman dayani from toronto canada.

  • such lush locales and costumes which the ordinary people never laid eyes on, and their lives had sadness which came of circumstances so different from that of the movie viewers, people watched to learn of lives different from theirs

  • The song is superb, no doubt.

    ACTION **

  • I believe the actress is Shakila, who was famous in 50's and 60's. Lata is as usual melodious and supreme. There is only one Lata. Just imagine Hindi movies without her. I dare not.
