Rose is the most dominant but not the best. Hes at number 4 on my list because cp3 obviously better for many reasons. Rondo is 2nd because the guy can score when he wants. Hes the best defensive pg's in the nba. One of the best rebounding. Has a great IQ. Best passing pg him and nash. Then rose and williams is a toss up. Deron just has defense and passing over rose but rose will get there

Magic was a better distributor, dominated the floor more consistently w/o having to be the best scorer in the team. His size gives him an advantage no pg before or since (including Rose) has been able to compare too.

The only ones on the list that I don't think should be up there are Gilbert Arenas, Stephon Marbury, Sam Cassell, and Penny Hardaway. IMO Rose is the 2nd best player in the league behind Durant.

@kb24TM you must not watch a lot of bulls games. Youngest MVP. No one is or has been as shifty or quick as Derrick in the open court. Not even close. The way he gets to the rim is spectacular to say the least. He will go down as one of the best PGs of all time IF NOT the best of all time. Mark my words.

@austinh1228 do u even know wat it takes to be a pg, not just explosiveness and run into the hoop. rose iis not a pass first, hes a shoot first. he is their number one scoring option. a true pg, can shoot, pass, read plays, draw plays, lead the team on the court, a pg is basically an on court coach.. ur teams plays around a pg, holy shit, u must be crazy if u think rose will be the best pg of ALL TIME. this is sad.

@kb24TM Pure PGs are a dying breed in this new league, especially with the way fouls are being called. Rose's playing style is effective. Plus, I don't get how anyone can comment on his legacy in his FOURTH year. Look at LeBron. No one has a clue what kind of legacy he'll leave behind, and he's already been to the Finals twice. Just wait and see before you instantly discount him. He can only get better at this point in his career.

omg... a point guard is for fucken making passes not havin huge point numbers and shit... derrick rose is more of a sg cuz of his style..... good examples for point guards are jason kidd, steve nash, john stockton, magic etc the pg is supposed to be like a mini coach a guy that can organise an offense and make smart plays

To put Rose OVER MAGIC JOHNSON, Skip Bayless deserves no respect, John Stockton is MUCH more dominant.
