Hello Sr, I wonder if we could have more tutorials from you, & perhaps in the process design something useful... perhaps something like the Mars rover Curiosity or a electric car like the Ariel Atom, humm yet lets not forget the environment! there are so many things we could do to fix it, we need someone like you to take us in that road! humm smart fish farming in the oceans, vertical crops, or perhaps the design of 1 city in a mega building etc !!
out of all the tutorials here on youtube your videos are by far the most informative. and its nice to see someone who tells there viewers the shortcut keys.!
When I followed your first few steps to load up a new file a window poped up that has a white grid on blue background on can I draw on the grey background like you?
i'm learning from your tutorials but before u starting blaming on me let me know you something! i'm 32 years old guy with cerebral palsy and i dont have pre-knowledge about using this programme. i chose learning & using this because i have some projects in my head, i'm sick of being unemployed and i want to start on my own. if you read this comments please let me know how can i start learning basics. i want to make some things for people in powerchairs(i'm one of them)!
@Dic3r4ever I'm glad you are learning from the tutorials here, and wish you all the best. I would watch my Autodesk Inventor Fundamentals tutorial series. You can't put links in comments so go to my channel and on the right side, click the playlist for Autodesk Inventor Fundamentals. 14 videos that will start you from scratch.
@robcohee you are god in my eyes if you want it or not! you are my inspiration! if i won't understand something i'll ask you. i'm hard of hearing person, if i wanna understand i need to replay something twice or trice but i do understand your instructions! too bad noone cant give subtitles in english because i better read instructions than hearing them but i'm also reading from your mouth/lips. how much costs patent protections in US? wherevever in europe its expencive atm and i cant afford it!

Yeah, go to my main channel page and click playlists. Click on the Two Minute Tips and have a look at the Customizing Your Interface video. That ought to be what you're looking for.
Yep, that's what I use a 3D mouse from 3DConnexion. Great product. If you can't swing a 3D mouse, use F4 on your keyboard to toggle on and off rotate.
Seriously, such a good tutorial! I'm a student and still in the learning process, and though I already know all the stuff you've just shown, it is such a valuable lesson for beginners! Thanks for putting this up. And you make me crack up everytime watching your videos! ;)

You manage to be amusing and really helpful at the same time!
I've searched for a while for good tutorials and guides, this is the easiest to follow, and has really helped! Thanks!

Rob,
I am learning alot from your tutorials and would like to say keep up the good work.
My question is do you have a video that will show how you have your UI setup in detail?
