@lastflash21 It was a broken femur. It's an injury that's very hard to come back from. Somehow EJ Henderson was able to recover in time for the start of the next season. For a lot of athletes, this would be a career ending injury.

I saw this game on Dec 6 that Sunday night and all of a sudden I was in complete silence to what happened with E.J. also the stadium and players. I felt extremely sad because he trained so hard in the offseason and later gets a severe injury. It's really cool that his teammate and younger brother Erin was out there to comfort and help him. I heard somewhere that E.J. said he'll be ready by training camp and 2010. GET WELL E.J.
I am a diehard Packer fan and hate the Vikings but that was a brutal leg injury EJ Henderson suffered and I hope he gets back to 100% soon. It is never good to see somebody get hurt, especially this badly.

sad to say but thats a career ender right there you dont see that too often he busted his whole sht..it looked like he just hyperextended it at first when I was watching it live but then you see his lower leg just flopping around independantly from his knee.
Its not career ending unless he has complications from the break and/or surgery.. A femur heals likes any other bone does. Granted its the biggest bone in the body, but it still heals.
These guys are the epitome of health and he has the best medical and rehab available. He'll be back, barring something unknown to us with his healing process.
Anybody can heal from this injury and go on to live a normal life, but returning to play in the most physically demanding sport is near impossible. His balance, speed, and strength will be nothing like it was. He may return but he will not be competitive.
@jjzbuddy Yeah... as much as I liked him, It looks like we need to get a new MLB. Even if he comes back, he won't do us much good. I hate to be speaking about a human being like this, but I think that it would be good for him if he didn't come back... so he dosn't re-injure himself even worse. Its not career ending unless he has complications from the break and/or surgery.. A femur heals likes any other bone does. Granted its the biggest bone in the body, but it still heals.
These guys are the epitome of health and he has the best medical and rehab available. He'll be back, barring something unknown to us with his healing process.

Anybody can heal from this injury and go on to live a normal life, but returning to play in the most physically demanding sport is near impossible. His balance, speed, and strength will be nothing like it was. He may return but he will not be competitive.
