Its sad to say that my elementry, middle school, and highschool career were never that great. I was never class queen, or top sports person. i was the unpopular person. And through Highschool it got a little worse, because there was always a "andy" figure. Seeing as everyone's posting theories here, I may aswell put this out: I heard that there was a boy called Andy in Brandon's high school. Apparently Brandon's school career was made unhappy by this Andy kid - he was the #1 football star, the school "stud", and our amazing Mr. Flowers was his bully victim. The song is supposed to be a sarcastic tribute to Andy, as in a "look at me now" kind of thing. Bet that man is devastated now.

I don't think you really know what it's written about. It's actually supposed to be ironic. Brandon Flowers went to Juab High School, where I go and I know Andy. He's my gym coach. Andy bullied Brandon in high school and stole his girlfriend. So this song isn't about him liking Andy, like many think, but it's supposed to be ironic. Interesting huh? :)
