Not bad at all. Nice pacing. I have my nitpicks, but you have done excellently. The end of the intro was particularly fantastic, though...! It gives you a sense that after all that action, the heroes head home for the day.... Very nice...!!!
back then I only watch this for the dogfights....it had too many emo moments IMO. I wish they just went on a rampage and shoot anything connected with crime in sight (to lemme see more of airwolf in action)
That's from the premiere episode, "Shadow of the Hawke." Hawke had just raised his visor (per Ben Mufta's order), when Dom found the button to activate the turbos....the turbos ignited, which startled Mufta, and Hawke punched both Libyan guards out before making his way into the cockpit. (Yes, I know this show a *LITTLE TOO WELL!!*) :)
oh man, nice work such awesome quality, each time i look at airwolf, it seems as if it is looking right back at me, doesnt seem this was the eighties, its looks as if it is right here right now
@indreboe86 If I may add, I COMPLETELY LOVE all of the Ernest Borgnine scenes you chose. They completely fit and compliment the show from that time period as well as all of the other changes. Seriously, this is the Top of the fan intro's !! Just simply Love it !! Thanks again for your sharing! YouTube can be a good place =)
Don Bellesario wanted a sleek civilian looking helicopter with larger rotors. The idea of AIRWOLF is that with guns retracted it could blend in with civilian air traffic & go unnoticed. Literally a wolf in sheeps clothing, hence the AIRWOLF logo of just that. Originally, Peter Mckernan Sr. owner of JetCopters, considered the Sikorsky S-76, Aerosptatiale Daulphin AS365 to be modified into AIRWOLF. Andrew Proberts easily could have design a sweet S76 AIRWOLF, instead they went with the Bell 222.
I heard that Airwolf might be made into a movie. I dont think thats right yet. You will all agree that Airwolf was plain cheesy, but restart the series and the outcry will be to strong to resist.
Now i'm 13 and I LOVE AIRWOLF! I even bought the season 1 box set! I've had a meltdown because it went off RTV and everything! My friend says "Who cares it's a chunk of metal". Well, who cares about dumb skateboarding, or ugly a** Slipknot (Failknot)
Wow, talk about a fan based intro video that kicks some ass and takes some names! This by far has to be "best in collection" as far as Airwolf fan based intro video's. Note to the poster: where the heck were you when the show was in first runs? You would have made "bank" working for them, creating seasonal intro video's. I rank this sucker a whooping 10 all around, audio = 10, video = 10 and ole Airwolf = 100,000,000. Thanks for your hard works here, it is highly appreciated!
@OneHoof You are arguing with something I wrote a year ago. Everything you mentioned I was aware of. Yes, I watch Airwolf reruns every week and I own all the DVDs.
@adriansrealm Not trying to disagree. His character's name was Michael Coldsmith Briggs III, codenamed Archangel. But Hawke usually calls him Michael when they are having one on one conversations.
I believe his character was strongly modeled after Panama Jack. In the Bible his namesake is Michael the Archangel. God's chief angel so his codename was quite befitting for his position as deputy director. The FIRM's codenames where either Biblical or Greek Mythology like Zeus... COOL VIDEO!
Excellent. At least as good as the original intro's with all those clips. The music is not original, but good (except for the rotor sound at the beginning), I prefer it to Season 3. Heard it before, but just don't know who this theme version is by?
Only the chopper sound at the beginning is that of an articulated system, which the 222 was not. Although nowadays it might be filmed with a 430 which is articulated, larger and every bit a beautiful as its predecessor.

Alex Cord played Micheal Coldsmith-Briggs III, codename Archangel. His name was not Micheal Archangel. But a very good remake just the same.
adriansrealm 2 years ago 2
When the credits say "Micheal Archangel", we'll just go ahead and call him that.
That O.K. with you? Calling the guy what the credits say his name is?

@xxxSPODIExxx I'll call him by what is correct. If that is OK with you.
