there is a way to get up where carlito is. Go behind him and there should be 2 boxes. jump on those and jump onto the platform above your head and WALA! pretty conveinent to have a random rope as an escape route huh?

Not sure if you're okay with someone else answering, but I think I have a fairly good idea.

If you're willing, you can start from the beginning and once in the room of the survivors(you will be told to go to the back to get stuff to board the doors) and once you go, the zombie outbreak occurs. So now, all those survivors are getting killed. Behind the fountain, is a MASSIVE load of zombies. Kill them. The shotgun is there. With the convicts, you can use it and also hide behind
