You know, if the movie was about Holli, focused on her as a villain protagonist from the Femme Fatale's perspective AND her own desire to "do it if she could", and put more focus on the animated universe, this story would've had a more cohesive focus and be remembered as something truly awesome. I mean, keep Jack's character as a supporting (you don't cut Gabriel Byrne), but excise Brad Pitt, and BAM awesome movie realized.

Ah, Ralph Bakashi....you are the adult animator's Jesus. xD As awesome as Cool World is (and I do love this movie) I'm forever a Fritz the Cat fan...mainly because that film introduced me to him and I saw it in History of Animation class. xDD

Lord, I remember watching Cool World when I was eight, and I never understood why it offended my mom and older siblings XD Still a good movie, it was made by Ralph Bakashi for crying out loud!
