From Dan 4, it appears that Nebuchadnezzar had more to learn about God... a. He knew that God was Lord of kings and a revealer of secrets - Dan 2:47 b. He knew that God can deliver His servants - Dan 3:28-29 -- But now it was time for him to learn that God, the Most High and King of heaven, rules in the kingdoms of men, including his own!

I wonder if superstition had much to do with early religion... today science has all but squashed that for us, but believe we do in faith.

there's a lot of pagan elements in today's Christianity. we can call come of those 'spiritualism' or 'superstition'.
