This is such a bad ass song.. I like the D standard version off of First Strike is Deadly better than original version. I can kinda hear the mistakes on the solo but other than that everything sounded pretty bad ass!

As the intro says... Line 6 POD XT plugged directly into my computer's audio. That's all I used to record this (The POD is an amp model emulator - don't remember which amp sound I was using when I recorded it though). However, I now use a Mesa Triple Rectifier + Laney 4x12 Cab when I play live shows with my new band.. BET THE DEVIL - the sound is heavy as balls.

Thanks man. Tough to say how long it took to learn it. But I've been listening/jamming Testament for the last 15 years. Practice makes perfect. Wow, thanks for the compliment! Actually that was a studio version of the song. Testament released an album in 2001 called "First Strike is Deadly" that is all remakes/re-records of songs from their first 2 albums - The Legacy and The New Order. I highly recommend it. These are my 2 favorite albums and the remake in 2001 with better recording & mastering sounds incredible (and tighter than the old versions). I know i make mistakes in this song but I did my best at the time. Thanks again...
