@hbanffzg now that is an awesome story! and I played it a lot with Allan at the Flanders Ethno, thus his name in the description. I may have even learned it from Allan...
I dont know the tune but enjoyed it....Thanx!...You can play both Mayor and Minor=>you Are a real PIPER.I'M a Gaiteiro from Galiza and I had the chance to play a German Bagbipipes for 1 Month last year....but the reed in the chanter was a "Ruben"'s from Galiza!!...what reed maker do you use?...or r u making your own reeds??
Oooooh yes!! I play this one too. It pops up here and there when I mess around on some instrument. It's a simple, but a very, very nice tune. Sounds always super on the bagpipes and you play it flawlessly. It works on a lot of other instruments as well.
By the way, I just realized today that I haven't subscribed to your channel yet =0
I'm going to post a response on my OM as soon as I can!
I also saw that you had favorite some Erhu videos. That's so funny, because I just ordered one yesterday!! I should get it in little over a week or so.
Hey, man, it's Hrvoje, I actually saw this video before going to France and only now I realize that it is you... :o) Btw, I love this tune!

Quite interesting combo. A german playing a swedish polska with a scottish (I suppose) bagpipe! Way you go! x)
The most interesting is that this combo almost sound like portuguese folk music.
Nice done! Very nice!

@ALLCe it actually is a German bagpipe^^

my reeds are from the maker of my pipes, Bodo Schulz, and made out of plastic.
btw, it's not that difficult to play major and minor on this kind of pipes. but thank you for the kind words!

Wow those sound really cool. Your playing is great you must practice alot. Is this a sackpipa or border pipes?
CanadiaNecro1 2 years ago
actually I do not practice that much^^
this is a German pipe called "shepherd pipe"
HaileISela 2 years ago
I dont practice my highland pipes as much as I'd like to because of school.
I'm more familiar with border pipes than german pipes. The sound is very similar. It's a really great sound.
Nice dreads btw.

Hehe, I played on the Erhu in Belgium, on Flanders Ethno. It's the first string instrument, I was able to play^^ And it's soo nice...
it is a really nice idea to play the response on the OM, because the guy I played it with, Alan Skrobe, played it on Mandola too...

No leprechauns in sweden, only tomtar and knytt.
And it's from 17th century, according to FredFredrik
