Don't know why you saw the need to fast-forward the replays. For example, the arrow signs are moving faster than normal. It would also explain lack of showing the lap times or playing the car sounds.

@IstasPumaNevada it's not fast-forward, it is however set to "faster" instead of normal under "geometry details" in the settings, maybe that's why you experience it to be faster.

@Frostbeule That is purely a graphical fidelity option, but just for the sake of argument I tried it on all the settings for geometry details, and it did not change the speed of the light-up signs.

Comparing the speed of the arrow-signs and the warning signs, they are switching states faster in this video than they do in the game, or videos of TM gameplay by other people. This video by Frostbeule is sped up. It explains lack of lap times displayed; someone this fast would show their times.

@IstasPumaNevada ok then, well i don't know what else to tell you other than i didn't speed the video up, and all my times are real. you can find some of my records (if not all of them) uploaded to the Nations-TMX site which i will send to you via PM. then you can download the replays and look at them yourself.

So, given all available evidence, this video plays at an accelerated rate (at least in parts) and while the driving lines are indeed smooth, nobody coming across these tracks should get upset if they cannot seem to match the speed of the driving in these clips.

Hey. I'd definitely say I'm a lot better these days. in those days I would crash alot more than now, so ive become alot more consistent. The level of competition is also alot higher. back in the day, a round would usually be won by the opponent crashing, that doesnt really happen as much these days. so yeah it's become alot tougher, which i think is great.

Quick question, since you have bee round for along time, which tracks do you prefer, oldschool ESWC or the newer TMNF ESL ones? also which ones are your personal favourites?

hey.

well i usually prefer maps that are challenging, but also maps that are really close and the best times are withing 0.10 or so. i really depends on the maps. there's bad ESWC maps, and there's bad ESL maps. I don't really have any personal favorites, as I play a lot of maps, and I never really go back and play them again.

hmm, you can always try searching for it on tm-tube, if someone uploaded it. i don't have the vid myself (was there even a h2k vid?)

well i remember downloading it, it was h2k powers with the nWo members, quiet an old movie, but it was really good, i just wanted to check out the track layouts from them to see if i can get some ideas.

cool, well i was just thinking of making some really oldschool style tournement tracks and hopefully get the oldschool pros like yourself setting times on them. all the new tracks are to mad with transistions it ruins what the games was about lol
