if you are militia on domination you just have to get the the balcony overlooking B and A with a sniper and a clay to watch the staircase in the building to the left ( just watch out for snipers )

tweak on the first tip... you should always fire the 105mm at a group of enemies that are close by. Never use it for just one person if you can help it.

Skidrow is actually a pretty good map for the AC-130 when the enemy is spawning at the parking loot. And Rundown is also quite good. And why did you put Demolition at worst? Demolition + AC-130 = Spawnrape.

if the ac-130 is your last killstreak, then i suggest going inside a building and launching the ac130 there so the enemy doesn't spawn inside buildings

I got my first AC 130s with the SCAR-H then after breaking that record i get them all the time.. still leveling to get the no recoil ACR ...

AC 130 is not that great in Skidrow... unless most are not inside the building which covers half the map..

1. if you are on team deatmatch or just trying to get a good kd/r DO NOT use the ac-130 until the harrier, chopper whatever have left the battlefield

2. always try to shoot that guy first who had tried to shoot you down with a stinger

3. and in domination like highrise try to capture a and c before using ac-130 so you get loads of more kills

I disagree with the maps the AC130 is good/bad on. My opinion (GWar Dom, I'll say what flag the enemy should have to make it the best) (only using the maps you said)

Best:

Skirdow, A (best AC130 ever, basically a GUARANTEED 20+ kills)

Favela, A

Scrapyard, A or C

Wasteland, any spawn other than the bunker

Worst:

Invasion, Highrise, Derail.

extremely well made video, its nice to watch even if i already knew EVERY single tip you provided. the only one that wasnt really mentioned. is if you have guys trying to shoot you down, if you should let them be or kill them. and i guess it kinda is 50/50 just because if they respawn, they be fresh with another two stingers, but you also can get a chance at killing them again. if you let them be, than u missed an opportunity as a kill. best bet would be to just kill him and garuntee the kill.GJ

Skidrow is probably the BEST map for an AC130, as long as you manage to spawn trap them at the A domination point, there is no where to hide, except for the building in the corner. But a decent gunner could hit them. But if you're not spawn trapping them at A then it is one of the worst maps. But great tutorial.

This is just my opinion, but highrise and favela and invasion actually are pretty good with the ac-130, and demolition is actually a good game type to use it on too.

@vroom1515 Yes, I know this, a skilled AC-130 user can handle it well on every map, but there's just no denying that maps like Wasteland and Afghan have it easier. Demolition isn't bad for the AC-130 either, but it isn't the best either.
