  • Is the second set of strings sympathetic to the ones across the fretboard?

And who's saying he can't play? None of you play a rubab, how can you say he can't play?

  • @fondlist Robab has 4 sets of strings: 1. the first 3 (nylon, used to be gut in the old days) similar to classic guitar, but tuned to B, E, and A. 2. three first sypathetics (C, E, G), made of various metals. 3. the main metals (10 to 14) each tuned to a note. 4. The last and shortest sympathetic, tuned to C, which is played by some masters. This guys plays very nice. He just doesn;t have a tabla or dohl to accompany him.

  • tehis is Finish language

  • very nice which language do you speak with the kaffer guy??

  • what makes him kaffer?

  • He cant even Play mannn

  • This man owns and can at an intermediate level play Rubab decently, therefore has kept the Afghan traditional instrument and music alive in a foreign land. Bravo! I know a lot of people who can't tell the difference between a Tamboor and a Rubab. So, if you own and can play a traditional Afghan musical instrument, my hat off to you too. Rubab is is even a difficult instrument to tune, let alone to play well.
