  • very creative. you learn something new everyday

    tnx 2old4toys

  • Hey 2old4toys,

    could this help me?

My birthday is on this october 14 and guess what...

I broke my F91's lower torso-part's upper ball joint.

I was trying to build the inner frame by itself.

  • maybe use super glue? or if you can fnd a bootleg f91 use those parts to replace the broken one

  • Happy Birthday! Use some super glue. Ideally... You should use a pin-vice to drill a hole in both parts and thread a piece of metal rod with a matching diameter between them... Then superglue.

  • lol thank you.

I found out that HLJ sells spare parts.

  • @Gabd3v HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

  • I really like the ending

  • yeah that trick works

but it won't be as durable as new

    but it's still very useful

  • is there a way to get a replacement part?

I can name out which exact part it is.

  • yes there is a way to get a replacement part but u have to live in japan

  • damn...

if you could order those that would be amazing!

  • any way to buy it online???

  • well u may want to use super-glue to get them into 1 piece, super-glue's quite effective on plastic...

  • could this work for broken ball joints?

  • lmao,oh sorry

  • LOL "OH $#!%"

  • Thats a genius trick :)

  • nice tip..but it causes pollution..if you need thin Plastic,, go buy Tamiya Plastic Beams.. if you wan to make your own plastic parts.. buy Tamiya Pla-Plate.. 4 pieace in 1 pack.. and you can use it our ur model kits ..you can make your own weapon own parts,, and even make your model kits look sharper and better.. Visit my Account and look for Zeta A1 then u can see what is the use of pla plating

  • Using money to buy new modeling materials is not the point. What I am trying to get across is that you can make good use out of otherwise discarded items without bringing out Mr Credit Card.

  • its also more efficient since you also pay for the sprue

  • Pollution!~ i tried this before but my mom scolded me... i tried making an exposed PIPE for my gundam.. but it didnt turn out that well

  • 15 year old!! i not a kiddy!

  • You sure do type like one.

  • Nice technique(which I will use thank you), now Im going to pass the warnings I got flamed with in my battledamaging vid...MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PROPER VENTALATION BECAUSE THE FUMES ARE POISONOUS!!! lol omg people act like we are freaking idiots and dont know plastics contain chemicals that can kill you lol.

  • LOL! So long as you do it right, there shouldn't be any fumes generated at all... (said the guy who messed up) But yes, I agree entirely that it is worth commenting that a Good ventilation is a sensible precaution!

  • Wow amazing use for ABS sprues, backup birthday candles.

Anyways kidding aside that was quite a great tip, one should always be careful when using this trick...since the fumes created by the plastic actually is poisonous plus the haze it creates is extremely annoying to remove without proper ventilation.

  • i was like wow, i wonder if this works with those rubbery polycaps. Then you were like, OH $##%^&* so i looked back at the vid and it was on fire ._.

  • haha that ending made my day!

  • u got bday candles

  • hahaha that was hilarious

  • lol WITH BITS OF OLD GAWBAGE

  • "gawbage"?

  • EN A CANDEL

  • That was fun!

  • Happy Birthday!

  • no wonder they call it "ABS" lol....

btw, for any1 who didnt that that joke.."a bullshit" =p

  • zomg ABS pwnage. wow.

  • yeah i tryed it and it wasnt labled abs but i knew it was. and it lit on fire also. and btw when abs lights its higly toxic so really dont try it

  • Thanks 2Old4Toys! My inner pyro is now satisfied for the day... :)

    ...*BEEP* xD

  • awesome vid bad ending lol

  • ****! lol

  • I used to use this to make antennas for ship model kits & for tanks, I think tamiya used to print the technique in their model kit instruction manuals.
