Try not to use your body so much when you curl. My coach and trainer bust my ass for doing that. If you lift it without using your swinging your whole body like that, then it is problably too much weight.

Arnold called it the "isotension principal" it's a plyometric exercise that doesn't produce body building results but keeps your muscle under constant stress, shocking it into growth. Try doing a relatively easy workout for your arms but flex the entire time you rest, you'll be shocked at the pump and how sore you'll be if you stay real with it.

try keeping your elbows and body still, that way it would be isolating the biceps and giving a more effective workout

This is definitly not the work out you should do, if want to get arms that look like his.
You only get Bizeps and Trizeps like this ,if you train a lot harder!!!

I think the flexing has to do with the blood flow. It's like making ur abs hard when ur doing sit ups.
