You shouldn't have commented if you didn't like it. They made 29musicals I hate to tell you & the musicals outlasted the anime and the live action series (PGSM). Regardless of how stupid you may think they look the girls who star in these musicals will be remembered by millions for their work. This sailor moon happens to be one of the bests of those who played the role and became a very successful person in the end. I could just say the joke's on you cause it's only stupid to you.

yes plus if you know anything at all about stage productions you'd know that the outfits HAVE to be bright and gaudy ither wise people in the balconys and other people not close to the stage can see it better...

I personally am a Myu fan, but I too did not like them AT ALL at first. If it hadn't been for Hikari-san, whom I became fascinated with, I would have just laughed and would have never come back to watch more. To me Sailormoon was the anime, and I felt the stages destroyed it. Now they've grown on me immensely, I think they are in fact great productions and I love watching them, but just because a lot of us love SeraMyu doesn't mean everyone does, or SHOULD for that matter.

Also I'll point out to you that Silbermondmann didn't say anything bad about Fumina-san, only about her wings, so there was really no need to make a point of her being a great/famous actress.

One last thing. I think there are actually MANY people who do not share our love of SeraMyu. Most of them just don't bother stating their opinion because they know that others will vote them down merely for not sharing their opinion, even though those people's opinion IS legitimate as well.

That's all I wanted to say.

@HijaDelMar6 When I fist saw them I had similar feelings as you did but I started to like the music in the stage version and of one actress before I knew her name and history in her performance of the main character.

Yeah, I also liked some of the songs long before I saw the actual performances. I think that Sailor War Supreme was probably one of the first Japanese songs I ever learned, about 12 years ago now, and I really loved it. And until I first saw it performed on stage, I thought that La Soldier was from the anime. ;)

So yes, I liked a few songs from the Myus long before I ever watched any of it... and maybe that explains why I needed some time at first to let it grow on me.

Wake up and smell the coffee son, this is Seramyu, as in, the musicals BASED on the Sailormoon saga. The Live Action is called "Pretty Guardian Sailormoon". And don't watch it if you don't like it, as simple as that.

As for myself, I'm a Sailormoon die-hard fan an I love every form of Sailormoon, including the Live Action and Seramyu.

The last song, "La Soldier", was used in episode 88, if you didn't know.

They're uniforms are supposed to be 'theatrical' otherwise people in the back probably wouldn't know who in the hell was doing what. Besides, I like their costumes, I would love to wear one of those!

Hell no! The musicals outlived the anime, manga and live action. The musicals rule! They ran from 1993 all the way to 2005. And the creator even made manga volumes of the 1999 musicals.

Hahaha...if you think Fumina looked bad look at Marina, Miyuki and Anza they're the ones with bad wigs. Fumina (the sailor moon in this video) lucked out. The costumes are better than PGSM (live action sailor moon) I think it's just that you're not used to it. And the musicals have wonderful storylines just watch Shin densetsu kourin's Chibiusa death scene, Eien Densetsu Kaiteiban's kiss scene or the Transylvania no Mori scene before the finale you'll see it's far better than you think.

And don't let anyone tell you otherwise even if Takeuchi Naoko loved the musicals doesn't mean the fans will love them too. I'm not obsessed with the musicals in my honest opinion the musical costumes were better (they're done so nicely with all the glitter and shine). I prefer the musicals to other stuff in the sailor moon universe because of all the songs there are to remember the series by.

Meh, the costumes only look cheap because because the are bright coloured and shiny. There is a perfectly good reason for that though. They need to accommodate the whole audience. Even the people sat at the back. Wigs are 'horrible' and unnatural looking for the same reason.

Sera Myu didn't ever officially end they went on hiatus after Marina's graduation.

This musical had great acting and vocals and really well rounded choreography I wish the plot had been better. Half the time anyone spoke a line it was a line that had been said by someone in Anza's stage. The plot really killed this musical.

I dont know why but they skiped a lot in la soldier and made easier, instad of jumping they moved their arms, and fumina always lift her arm in every solo she have and she did wrong with the hand in the first solo of la soldier, she need to cover half of her face but she almost missed her head and istand of pointing to her heart in "kokoro" (means heart) she walked.

everyone else except uranus (nao) looks like robots when they are need to clap fingers.

but the singing is quite well...

Personally as far as vocals Fumina's a better vocalist than Anza. I quite like this choreography and they changed it because it's a new stage. I like the zombie (robot) dancing.

1993 the instrumental track of La Soldier used as battle between the Shitennou and the Inner senshi.
