  • the part where it explodes looks like a burst of plasma.

  • yeah thats a territory marking showing that niggers liver near. the more shoes the bigger the nest

  • omg that made me laugh for atleast a minute

  • burns hurt

  • OUCH!

  • OMG at first I thought the sparks falling off to the right was the burnt-out electrical guy falling to his death! I didn't see that he was in the bucket. :P

  • Too many video games and TV...

  • a news paper in its bad down at the newspaper warehouse hanging on the bottom line.

  • ehh it depends...the lowest line is usually the cable tv system...sometimes a combination of phone and cabletv...the middle lines are usually stepped down voltage (to houses and small businesses) and the highest up is usually the 4-17,000v lines...sometimes there is another set even higher than that which is 100,000+ volts

  • That's even worse when your standing on the pole, not bad when your in a bucket

  • Yep, type of fuse was a 'drop out fuse'. Generally when they blow and no fault is found they attempt a reclose on the line. Since this blew pretty quick it is a major fault. Could be a wire down, blown transformer or a blown lightning arrestor. The less common ones are people throwing stuff over the lines. ;)

  • Phase 1 in... phase 2... phase 3 bang. Hate when that happens. Gun powder filled fuse wire designed to make sure it don't arc after going off.

  • thats what happens when the fault is still there...

  • he was turning the power back on. all that "fuse" is a disconnect so they can do work on the line

  • Thats why that pole he's holding is called a "shotgun stick"

  • yeah thats what happens when you replace drop out fuses, without checking for shorts in the line.

seconldy why do it live? couldnt they have switched around it?

  • this is what happens when you reset the breaker before being absolutely sure there are no other shorts on the line.

  • Never look directly at any high voltage line arcing, the arc produces immense UV Rays which can damage your eyes. Just like looking at someone welding. Ultraviolet Radiation burns the eyes.

  • holy shit you can here the wire wipping around lol
