Fabulous :-) The Jet Fighter Museum is restoring one at Parafield Airport Adelaide South Australia...I must check it out again soon. They have an Allison V12 on a stand which they run every now and then...impressive. Thanks for the Vid.
p-38 lightning my favorite ww2 the twin boom,twin engine design is unique,i forgot her armament. I still wonder why they withdrew it from frontline squadrons in favor of the mustang

Wrong... P-38 is called Lightning.
The germans called it the Devíl's Fork, due to its shape !
