@conoba also, jet and rocket engines have numerous high pressure/high temperature fluids that may in some cases also be highly corrosive (eg. Red Fuming Nitric Acid as used in the Titan II ICBM/satellite launcher), so the use of superalloy is almost a requirement in that kind of situation
