  • Why i woudn't have the oportunity for being a fucking quarrymen or a fucking beatle for god...!

  • Please don't stop. I want to hear you live, sometime,...soon. Thanks for the memories. Well Done all!

  • Wats the song that's playing behind the narrater I love Johns voice in it

  • their sound has a lot of the exciting energy which drives Beatles music - nice

  • Never heard of the beatles but they sure seem to be good by what I've heard so far ;-)

  • @jojijonas you never heard about the beatles...from what planet you came from...lol!!!

  • @OfficialChipmunker12 hopefully you do understand ironi ;-)

I grew up with John, Paul, George and Gringo.

    Peace

  • Great concert at the Egyptian in Hollywood last night & this morning. Thank you! I had a great third row seat and also took pictures of the concert and q & a. Enjoy our great city, John Lennon's star and the private picture collection at the museum.

  • Rod, thank you for performing at the Egyptian Theater. Really enjoyed the concert. Looking forward to seeing you perhaps later at John Lennon's star or at the museum viewing John Lennon's photos up on Sunset. By the way, I was in the third row & also took pictures during the q&a and concert.

  • If they put out a recording, I'd buy it, sure!

  • are All 5 Members still with Us ???

  • Very interesting, thank you!

  • wow these guys must feel worse than the original drummer for green day

  • accidents are the only miracles that happen, sorry to dissapoint but it was a beautiful accident and thats about it

  • To dubb1995 ... this is an interesting clip, but it certainly doesn't make me believe in Jehovah, Zeus, Apollo, or any other mythological being. I can't even begin to understand why it would.

  • Apparantly this is how it went...

Someone intruduced Paul to John and said.. "John,This is Paul McCartney. He plays to!"

John then smirked and relplied. "You play with yourself to? Paul then giggled and said.."I like this guy!"

  • No, Think about it.....they John and Paul both grew up in the same area, liked the same music and hung out in the same places. They were both interested in music and both played instruments. It's just the same possibility as you or me meeting someone in our area that we have similar interests with then perseuing those interests together. to think some mystical force was involved is rediculous. Just a chance happening of complete genius.

  • @JusticeRightsFreedom They didn't live in the same area. Paul lived in Speke and John in Menlove Ave, Woolton. In Liverpool in those days that was a world apart. Lads from Speke wouldn't normally hang around with lads from Woolton (far too posh!!!). ME? I'm from Woolton!!!

  • It's when you see something like this that you have to believe in God..or at least believe in higher force that threw these two guys together, so that they could impact upon the planet the way they did. Could it really be an accident..think about it...i mean, really think about it.

  • Its funny I pass the house where they came up with this song(and many others) everyday on the bus and the amount of tourists who think its like the first house on the block is unbelievable :)

  • What i woundn't give to be able to go back in time to witness that first meeting between John and Paul.

  • I'm not kidding! I'm willing to bet one day that will be a popular tourist destination. Time travel is upon us and people will have that experience once only dreamed of........

  • Amazing story, and glad to be living in an era where every 'original' or predessor of formiddable bands come out of the wood work, 2008 seems to be that year for many a survivor of old bands across all genre's and all generations, thankyou for sharing this with the world, and long may you continue :0)

  • I guess Paul wasn't asked to rejoin

  • Thanks for the interesting video!

  • Fantastic video clip & story. Thank you Rod for posting. I know I sound like a broken record, but want you,Len & Colin to know how grateful I am to have played with The Quarrymen last year at both New York & Chicago's Beatlefest....& how incredibly blessed I feel to know I will be joining you beautiful lads on your upcomng Tour to the U.S this October.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart !

    JB
