When I got off the bus to the Denver Bus Terminal there was a woman with a thick Boston accent screaming at the top of her lungs, and I knew that I was going to have to help her. I felt "called" to do so, in other words. She eventually approached me, and I ran all kinds of errands for her for four hours in that bus terminal. At the end, while she was being picked up, she yelled "God bless you sir" at the top of her lungs. I don't know her name and never will this side of eternity.

Such a good song. I was on a bus in the Dominican Republic, head leaned against the window taking in everything as it passed and then this song came on my mp3 player right as we were driving through mass poverty. J stared out that window for just a short time but took in more than I could fathom and it still affects me today. Even my a hardened man that never shows emotion, started balling uncontrollably. No one on the bus could figure out what my problem was.

when I got off that bus a little Haitian boy say me trying to light a cigarette with matches and he ran over and told me he had a lighter but it was at home. I said don't worry but he did, cause I was out of matches. He ran full sprint home and back with a lighter that he wanted to give me. I was so touched by this little man that I gave him $100USD and told him to spend it wisely. He said it would feed his family for 3 months. In the end I got a picture of me and his family and the smiles too
