what kind of wok steel doesnt the metal spoons still scrap the bottom of the wok? you are right teflon and other coated ones are not good , we dont have asian food stores in my neighborhool guess i have to look on ebay unless you know of a good website i can buy one along with other accessories
amazing how easy this dish is but how great it tastes. also don't forget you can can serve it with a side of prik nam pla (small dish of fish sauce with chopped thai chilies and a dash of sugar). mmmmm
Looks delicious, I like her voice! I never would think to put tomatoes in it but I had this at Thai restaurant with beef and it was great. I think it was called Beef Lok Lak Fried rice or something like that? They served it with cucumber ,red onion, and lime. Shrimp and chicken looks even better!
THEY KILLED 3 OF MY GRAND FATHERS IN MANILA AT FORT SANTIAGO DURING THE WAR TIMES! BUT "i love" WWII jap's SOLDIER the way they fought in american and here in philippines. i like there dedication and bushido way. i hope all filipino like them as nationalistic. very cool. i just made a different version of thai rice that i saw on youtube earlier - didn't like it much, but your version looks a lot more appetizing (and simpler to make!!) i'll have to try it. thanks for sharing :)
try my friends vietnamese version by using 1 table spoon of sweet soy sauce, and 1 teaspoon of fish sauce, and 1 teaspoon of oyster sauce, its pretty similar, and both are very nice. Thanks for this vid!
Nice work, we liked your video very much so we embedded it on ChefCommons . com w/ link back and reference to Youtube. (Let us know if you don't wish for it to be featured)
Believe it or not, our wok in a cheap American one too. It is thin steel and not coated. I would recomend that when you do buy a wok, not to use Teflon coating. You can get a good heavy wok at any good Asian food store.
Looks delicious! I love thai fried rice. Would definitely try this the next time I cook :) Could you also show how to make thai pineapple fried rice? Thanks :)
Thai Fry Rice is WAY BETTER than Chinese Fry Rice.. No Doubt.. If you think Chinese Food is GOOD ! well try Thai Food i tihnk its pretty good as well and i think its better than Chinese Food...
that looks so good i am going to make that for my fiance he will love it, thai food is the best and the people from there are so sweet. thank you for making this video:)
what a fantastic cook this woman is..she is a master of her craft & I can tell her recipe is very authentic..I'm very impressed..absolute top class cooking..& she seems like a very nice person to.
Thankyou for posting this video..I have found it very informative In my quest for cooking the perfect fried rice.
Also I do think thai people cook the best fried rice in the world..chinese fried rice doesnt even compare to it!
The presenters knife skills seem more for a clever than a knife(crushing action etc.). Great dish though and like the production overall. Keep up the great work.
LOOKS LIKE I HAVE TO BUY ME A WOK NOW....IT LOOKS DELICIOUS AND I LOVE THAI JASMINE RICE....THANK U, IS IT NEEN?

That's correct. Thai people like to eat raw vegetables with thier dishes, and Americans like to have raw sex with their meals, right?

If I wanted to follow this recipe but make it spicy could I add thai chili pepper, or chili paste?
When would you add it during the cooking process for the best flavor?
Great videos, thanks for uploading!

The first sauce that I put was fish sauce.
