@tommie423 you do realize both dirt 9(1 and 2) and grid are created by codemasters....they have the same game enigne..if you can run dirt you can run grid...grid came out before dirt 2 as well ...

When i compare grid to shift, grid wins.

Why?

Grid is older, and therefore their invention and quality was path leading for shift.

Loading times, grid = 2-10 sec, shift = 20-90sec.

However, i do love the hit-effects in shift, makes it kinda more real, as well as the driftings, feels more realistic.

But since shift is no sim, i prefer grid as arcade game ;)

its a great game, me i can play it with 16x XQcaa and full 16x anisotropic filtering setting with physics and ambient occlusion in my Qosmio x 300 laptop at 1440 x 900 resolution....You must play this game in high res. to enjoy it...its more greater than nfs.....Enjoy!!! Grid gamersss.....

Obviously you have NO CLUE what it is like on a REAL computer because I've seen it on PS3 on my 32"LCD with an HDMI cable and it looks HORRID compared to my PC, just like GTA 4. Sorry, but you have to spend money on hardware to make it look nice and a console is overpriced hardware; a waste of money for 10 year olds.

The graphics are great but everything else is SHIT! Grid is 100% ARCADE BullShit I wish I never got the game now. When you are driving your view is distracted by a shit load of flashing scores and rankings like arcade style. The sound, music and effects are annoying and all I want to hear is the engine sound not all that arcade bullshit. Even the brake is a brake and reverse combo. Oh and steering is arcade style and no clutch also. Age rating says for 7+ but it should say for under 7s only.

Although the crashes in this vid are still to tame, the chassis of the cars always stays intact which is a little irritating. In the real world the cars would have been torn to shreds at those speeds!!!

the 1GB RAM of your GFX card is not really needed, unless you don't tell us what GPU your GFX card has, it's not enough to give any recommendations.
