I love the gameplay in both of the games, but i absolutely hate big maps... and i prefer faster gameplay. I really liked the bf3 beta map operation metro, it seemed like it was a map designed to appeal to CoD players a bit (surprise surprise).
But when i get the real game, and half the players in the game are camping vehicle spawns... i'll probably switch back to mw3.. or I'll just say fuck both these games and get skyrim :)
bf3 campaign and online play will dominate COD gameplay. COD has based all of their 'new' games with the same engines. Different maps, sounds, and skins are the only differences in each COD game. COD suits people who can't handle a lot at one time, BF is for pro's.
If COD fails maybe it will push them to realize that they need to change their style instead of recreating the same thing every other year.
I feel that Battlefield 3 is going to be good but in my personal opinion i like Call of Duty just because Battlefield 3 is too slow paced for me it takes like 30 seconds to get from 1 side of the map to the other, even thought that is more realistic. You're playing BF wrong - it's not an individual experience like CoD, it's a team-based, objective-focused effort. You're not meant to be feeling the achievement from getting a kill, you're meant to be feeling the achievement of having defended the objective for 15-25 minutes from an entire team's worth of people trying to take it from you/keep you from it.

Getting Kills on BattleField is more satisfying than Call Of Duty. Getting kills in COD is so easy you don't feel that good about yourself when you get kills. Even babies playing COD. But on BF, it will separate the Kids from the Men.
BF3 Looks better as far as i can see than MW3, but because they are 2 different types of games, one is an Arcade type and one is more of a war simulator. get both if you cant choose. Then after you played both, you can judge which is better.

First, let me say I have prepurchased both games. Im just much more excited about BF3. I have played COD for years and BF for the last year. I see the two games a totally different. They are both going to be bought and enjoyed by me. When i think of BF3, i think if team strategy and long struggles of games.When i think of MW3 i think of run and gun twitch shooter with short action packed games. To say one is going to beat the shit out of the other is wrong in my mind because they are completely different. BF3 has better campaign, but MW3 has a longer life in my mind. I will love them both!

Lol its not mw3 players going around trolling battlefield vids or starting anything. Battlefield vids have like to dislike ratios of crazy shit like 400 to 1. On the other hand, many of the new mw3 vids have more dislikes than likes. Just proves the point of battlefield fans when they claim "men" play battlefield and immature kids play cod. Getting Kills on BattleField is more satisfying than Call Of Duty. Getting kills in COD is so easy you don't feel that good about yourself when you get kills. Even babies playing COD. But on BF, it will separate the Kids from the Men.
BF3 Looks better as far as i can see than MW3, but because they are 2 different types of games, one is an Arcade type and one is more of a war simulator. get both if you cant choose. Then after you played both, you can judge which is better.

@ShikasClouds You are absolutely, 100 percent correct. I agree, i feel way more satisfied when i get a headshot in BF3, the only time when i get satisfied in a cod game, is if i get a nice multi-kill or something. Mw3 looks really amazing though. and so does Bf3, but Mw3 is gunna be my home.

First, let me say I have prepurchased both games. Im just much more excited about BF3. I have played COD for years and BF for the last year. Also, it should be a requirement to play and understand both games before being able to even comment. I have done quite well on both shooter games, but I much prefer the BF series because of the team oriented fast action play that makes me feel as though I am in a real authentic battle, meaning how it feels, sounds, etc. (as a former airborne infantrym

i don't understand why people complain about the large maps in BF Of course you have to get from point A to point B and of course it will have some distance in between them.Most of the people that complain about this so far are COD players that go there in an attempt to "run and gun " and they get to be the first to be shot. I've always played Call of Duty, never played Battlefield... so I can't really comment on which one is the best and what not... But I have got a bit bored of all the Call of Duty games being similar and I feel like changing things up, so I have Pre-Ordered Battlefield 3... Although I will probably buy Call of Duty at a later date.
