I remember going to ATA from 2001-2006. Now we use Southwesr airlines

We always used to fly ATA from Midway to Orlando up until around 2003-4ish. They used to be the best of the best discount airlines, both in customer service and in prices, and it was sad to see them go. Now there is USA 3000, which they actually aren't bad, and Spirit Airlines, which is the WORST airlines of all time to deal with.

you can tell in the route map in the backround of the video...they flew to Bermuda, the Carribean, and Mexico.

hell dude they had to be the largest low cost airline in the industry and the only one to operate 757s L1011s and DC-10s.....I remember when the only thing that you could see at midway was those ATA palm tree tails and from 2000 to 03 those golden banner tails after that there were maybe only 3 or 4 of those and the rest was Southwest

I flew on ATA summer of 2007. It was on a red eye flight from ONTARIO to CHICAGO Midway. But we couldn't reserve seats in advance, something about the airport holding seats until just before departure. I never desired to fly with them again anyways.

Im a airport employee who serviced ATA, they were the easiest bunch to work with.They used to fly me to Indianopis for training courses,I will miss them.

Dude, ATA was horrible. Dont even try to make them sound good. They were money hungry, like they wouldn't allow you to cancel your flight, even when it was like 2 months in advance and you couldnt get any kind of refund or compensation. IM GLAD THEY WENT OUT OF BUSINESS! I just feel horrible for those who were displaced or got their vacations runined

i wonder if those yellow vests have ever actually saved anyone on in a crash? they should hurry up and put parachutes under the seats. in an emergency they could lower the jet to 10,000 feet, and put an exit on the back. it would save heaps more lives that what the vests do.

yeah, i was just kidding. you're much more likely to survive staying in the aircraft and putting a life vest on. they are guaranteed to save you from a 400 MPH impact or onboard fire. why dont they hurry up and put life vests in fighter jets, and ditch the eject and parachutes?

Erm... you're not supposed to inflate the life vest inside the aircraft, they aren't meant to be shock absorbers
