  • This is NOT "Kick Ass" poker.

  • how to play aggressively?? with a set?? ROFL

  • where's ur hud?

  • love the redneck accent. 'qwenee dwuuueccee'

  • This may have been a good instructional video...30 years ago

  • so why didnt you bet if you shoud of bet it then?

  • Hey great video! If you guys are looking for a bit more information not only in videos but also in written form give my video a look you might find it useful :)

    watch?v=4y_nQLVB07g

  • I didnt like your bet on the river. what would he call you with, and what would he raise you with? you lose everything if he has as little as 2 pair or a better kicker..

  • Q 2 its a premium hand!!

  • Q,2 a monster !?!?! oOK i leave.......

  • @tourlouOWNyou you're not english are you

  • hahahaha u play A9 like that and u are giving lessons? hahahah

  • You shouldn't have played Ah 5h for a PF raise out of position. You had a lot of difficult decisions on every street. At low stakes poker I think this is a mistake. Just my .02 cents.

  • @achalmers I don't think it's a bad call in a multiway pot. Heads up oop against an unknown appoinent it is.

  • i play with this strategy and its SO GOOD

i always raise no meter what i have and when i have very good cards they cant know that

    and its sooo good

  • You always raise no matter what card's you have in cash games ?? You must be a complete donkey and lose a lot of money, or you are just a poker play money player.

  • Yeah, so on the hand where you have A5 suited, it was obvious on the turn that the player to the bottom didn't have top pair when the board paired and he checked it last. Then an under card hits, the first player checks it, and then you should have bet about half the pot. You were gonna see it down so you should have made bet to both keep the pot small (in case someone wanted to bluff) and to also gain some folding equity. Why am I not doing videos and not you?

But in the hindsight, should I call or should I fold ?

    Thank you.

  • Yeh i think u prbably made a bad laydwn, the only hands u can be really worried about is 8,9 - 10,8 and maybe Q10.. Seen as though u also have a flush draw, calling is the right play because you raised it preflop so he cannot put you on the hand you have and is probably trying to buy it with the all in, he most likely has a hand like J10 or 8,7 - You could have a made a good laydown, but you have got think what is the other player putting me on seen as though u raised preflop, tight fold imo :)

  • sorry i mean 10,9 & QJ with the 3 hands u should be worried about..

More likely tho he has A9 or J10 something like that 8)

  • That's tough. You probably had him beat, mostly because that's a big raise for someone with a boat. If he has you beat he probably want's you in the pot. Seems like a drawing hand trying to buy the pot to me, or even A9. Calling with hands like that can get you in trouble though. I may have made the same laydown. Very disciplined at least.

  • @gbee310779 , that was a terrible fold 5 months ago

Then Turn came 10h. I made my Straight, had an open-ended Straight Flush draw and 7 additional outs for a Flush. I bet $5.50. The guy with the button then re-raised me $40 total.

In the end, I decided to fold because that was my last hand of the night. I came in with $50, up to about $65 prior to this hand, and decided not to risk it, because he might have a huge hand. That guy just played 2-3 hands in my table, so no reference whether he likes to bluff or not.

    Hi Guys,

Can I have some opinions on one of the hands that I played online last night ?

It was a $0.25/$0.50 NLHE-Shorthanded. I had been folding many hands, was in the BB, and got Js 7h. Everybody, except the SB, limped in to me. Since I have established my tight image, I was hoping that I can buy the pot by raising to $1.50. 4 players called and 1 folded.

    Flop came 8h 9d 9h, I did a continuation bet of $2.

2 folded, the guy with the button called. Pot size is now $10.75.

  • this guy is completely right, when in doubt push lol Anyone willing to get all their chips in with top pair 9 kicker is someone everyone should be taking advice from. Played his a5 horribly 2 shouldnt even of called that flop bet not alone be considering raising it. 8 times out of ten hes behind

  • It's simple. Table is very loose and agressive. Lots of people playing small suited connectors. A5 hearts is a decent hand to flop something good: as long as there's enough money in the pot to warrent the call. Ideal hand for A5 hearts in the big blind is an early raiser, and several callers. Lots of money in the pot, good pot odds, if you hit hearts on the flop you might win a giant pot, if you miss it's easy to get away from.

  • when table is loose and agressive best type of play is tight and not loosening up as well

  • great video, , i have some poker videos aswell check them out

  • lol worst tip ever

  • wtf are you guys complaining about? I think none of you know how to play poker, because he is playing pretty good.

  • None of us know how to player poker? The fact that you think he's playing good means you don't know shit about poker. Sharkscope my headsup profile in fulltilt "stillgot2outs". I was destroying the headsups on FT untill I met a player that I just can't beat.

  • first of all, i checked your profile on official poker rankings and your ROI is pathetic 1% so stop acting you are the KING OF POKER... im not sure how bad are you in cash games as well but you arent as good as YOU think you are...

  • Nevertheless, I'm better than this guy here. Else, explain to me his reason behind wanting a preflop raise and callers when he has A5 on the big blind. He's "playing pretty good"? HAHA. Why don't you look him up? BTW, if you want to arrange a headsup match with me, let me know.

  • the reason behind his thinking is that if there is a raise , he wants many callers so that it prices him in from the blind to call. Obviously when you got one raiser and no callers you cant call with A5s from OOP but once some players call his raise then you can call also.. Heads up games are worthless in finding out who is better unless we play thousands of hands together and i got no time to play heads up with you because right now im playing 6max cash games.

  • Except he wasn't say IF there's a raise, he wanted other callers, he WANTED a raise initially. If there was a raise and a couple of callers, what is he beating? If no ace comes, he's WAY behind a mid-pair. if an ace comes, what's the chance of his kicker being good with a preflop raise and a couple callers?

  • Exciting poker footage. Pretty good strategy, but I personally would play a little more conservative. Thanks for the posting. Also, hold'em is ok , but I'm finding omaha hi low a better less variant game.

  • Waste of time..

  • Seriously, the play in this video is horrible.

  • lol , yeah i bet you play better.. I didnt see any problems with his play except that risky bet on the river with a A9

  • If you want to live in a world where any part of the A5s hand isn't a gigantic problem, then feel free to spew.

  • You don't mind a caller...

Lol... yeah - when you flop the nuts...

  • Queen 2 a monster. why not just title the video "I'm a dumb fucking redneck... watch me lose money"

  • How about you listen to what he is saying explaining why thy call Q2 a monster and is it really a monster..

  • WOW, you really have to hide that monster A5 sooooted. You wouldn't want people with A6 and higher to get scared.

    Third deuce?

  • You will go all in with a pair of aces and 9 kicker? Where can I find you and play with you?

  • i think you're not understanding the situation, he is not going to go all in with that hand preflop , you gotta read the opponent and his actions on the , from the opponents weakness you could tell he got nothing strong...

  • Yeah, I'm not talking about the way he played it. I'm talking about "I'll probably go broke on this hand if he was going to check raises me all in", the fact that he can't get away with A9 on the river. That's different from know the oppoent is weak. Did you watch the rest of the video? He wants a preflop raise when he's second to act on flop with A5... What does he think the raiser and callers will have, A with smaller kicker? "..disguise the strenght of my hand"? A5 on bid blind?

  • What's the story behind Q2 getting the name "the monster"? Thanks for the video
